I wish I had researched Samsung refrigerator defects before I purchased my refrigerator. The refrigerator stopped cooling to a safe temperature one month after the Best Buy warranty ran out. Don’t trust what the digital display settings read. I lost $700.00 in fresh and frozen food products (COVID increased costs). The ice maker also stopped working shortly after the warranty ran out. Samsung has known about the defects since 2007.

Do NOT buy this fridge. Horrible problems, ice make continues to freeze over and you have to defrost. I’m now defrosting about every two weeks. Have been offered by Samsung to replace the ice maker however then you have problems with the fridge staying cold and risk food getting spoiled and food poisoning. This fridge should be recalled LOTS of people with the same problem. Whole FB page regarding these problems. Stay away!!!!

Looks great. Was easy to set up. Even temps. Ice and water work well.

We purchased this refrigerator during the holiday weekend. Loved the features, look and size. Price was competitive with other stores so we made the purchase. Delivered on July 4th, the delivery guys were very professional. Set up the fridge, puled off the plastic coating and BAM, small dime size dent in the right front door. I had to call Best Buy to initiate the process, no one ever called me to check on how the delivery went. WE made arrangements to have a new fridge delivered since BB does not just order the door, next delivery, all going fine, then BAM a more severe dent in the SAME DOOR. Once again, no one called me from BB to see how the delivery went. I had to call them, now we order another fridge, 3rd time. Gets delivered and guess what? THAT'S RIGHT there is a small imperfection in the same door. I have not called BB yet as I was waiting to see if anyone called me to ask how the delivery went. I think they are trying to just wear me out and hope I just go away, but I am NOT. This is a warning to others, the Fridge is great, works like a charm, its the service that is questionable. Do yourself a favor and buy this same fridge from somewhere else you may save yourself a lot of aggravation. If I could give zero stars I would but you have to put something in

Biggest lemon ive ever purchased..first and last time ever purchasing a samsung product. Purchased in Sept 2016, June 2017 the ice maker stopped working, it was frozen solid. Repair guy came and repaired..then March 1st 2018 ice maker stopped working again!!!! Just outside of the warranty phase. Now today June 11 i heard a loud humming (fan) type sound ive never heard before. BOYCOTT SAMSUNG!!!!

flex zone lights stopped working apparently this is common. Also constant problems with the ice maker freezing.

We are pleased with refrigerator except the ice maker. The ice maker produces a limited amount of ice, slow in dispensing same, ice is cloudy (like snow), crusher fails to adequately crush ice. I am thinking about reversing our refrigerators, we placed our old refrigerator in the garage and our new (Samsung) in kitchen. The GE has an outstanding ice maker, with considerable more ice,which dispenses clear ice. I would not recommend to a friend.

Icemaker frosts over and is unusable after 15 months. After a quick internet search on the problem this appears to be a widespread issue with Samsung frigs and there has even been a class action lawsuit started since Samsung refuses to resolve the issue.

Three weeks old and noticed water everywhere. Ice maker melted because refrigerator is room temperature. No alarm, The only clue was a flashing temp that inaccurately stated 35 yet temp in fridge is 68 degrees and food has been going bad for 24 hours.THANK GOD WE GOT GEEK SQUAD

The ice maker is worthless. I've had mine replaced and serviced twice within 6 months. Literally the worst. This fridge would be really nice, if the ice maker in it, would not freeze over every couple days and then not produce any ice. Then we have to dig it out, and work at it, tell it to auto defrost, then couple days later restart. Would NEVER buy this fridge again.

Good refrigerator for about 5 years. But the freezer gave out right after the 5 year mark. Wish it lasted longer.

Ice make is terrible, it freezes up atleast once a week.

DO NOT BUY SAMSUNG REFRIGERATORS, PLEASE! Chronic issues/breakdowns of the ice making mechanism leading to numerous repairs (expensive) which last only 6 months to a year and then start of another repair cycle. GARBAGE!

Do not buy this frig as your ice maker will die at 14 months into ownership. Search the internet and you will see that tons of people have issues with the ice maker and Samsung will do nothing to correct. Otherwise it is a nice frig.

The ice maker has already stopped working and I've only had the refrigerator for 2 months! I found out there is a class action suit against Samsung for a majority of their refrigerator models for the same or similar problems. It looks good but you don't buy appliances for only how they look. If I had known, I would never have purchased it.

Worked great for the first year then the ice maker started freezing up and will not make ice anymore. Apparently this is happening to everyone with this fridge and Samsung does nothing about it. Will never buy Samsung again.

The ice maker started freezing over after about 4 months. Now it does so every few weeks. Nothing I like better than to have to spend an hour defrosting my ice maker in my $2500 fridge every month.
