    Disappointing if you want ice

    Great looking but the ice maker does not work. We constantly have to get it fixed and the repair person said the ice maker on all Samsungs don't work. What's the point of wasting space in a freezer on a non functioning ice maker? I wish I could rip it out to have more freezer space instead.

    We love the design/layout of the fridge -- mostly. But the ice maker froze -- less than 2 months before we had it delivered and fortunately -- Best Buy is exchanging it out for something different. Its a shame -- I really liked the fridge too.

    Very expensive, doesn’t deliver

    When you spend this kind of money you expect superior performance and support. This system is all flash and low performance. First of all water from dispenser DOES NOT GET COLD. Contacted Samsung support and they are horrible. They bombarded me with troubleshooting that wasn’t even relevant. Finally they agreed to listen to me and sent the installers BACK to verify the installation was correct after I ensured them it was. Turns out it was installed perfectly. Bottom line the water doesn’t get cold because of the poor design of this system. Samsung couldn’t even agree on how the water system was configured or works. The ice maker is loud and slow, the crushed ice spits out random chips and slivers of ice VERY LOUDLY. I’m strongly considering returning this unit I’m so unhappy. For the price it should be AWESOME and at best it’s average. Save your money..this isn’t worth the EXTRA cost.

    Ice maker stoped working after 18 months. Leaks water onto my floor daily. Spent over $600 to fix and it still leaks. Will NEVER by a Samsung appliance ever again. Absolute garbage.

    This is the first Samsung refrigerator i have purchased, problems from the install. The doors wont stay open and the ice maker constantly freezes up. I have a soft water system and change the filters every 3 months. No help, this thing is a POS- Looks nice though. Stick to a whirlpool.

    The listed dimensions are WRONG

    The listed dimensions of this product state that it is 68.9 inches tall. These dimensions DO NOT include the wheels. The actual dimensions of this are 69.5 inches, which is too big for my opening. I waited a month for this thing to come in, waited home all day for the delivery to show up (and it was late), only to find that Best Buy/Samsung can't even get simple measurements right. VERY VERY upset.

    We are very unhappy with this refrigerator. We purchased it in 2016 and just after the one-year warranty expired the icemaker started freezing up. We have to run defrost about once every month and about a year ago the refrigerator started freezing up on the back coil Which is located in the fridge compartment. We recently decided enough was enough and bought a new LG refrigerator to replace this one.

    Ice maker Freezes 6 service calls no replacement

    I have had this fridge for approx 3 years and the ice maker freezes up quite often. After 6 service calls later under Geek Squad protection plan the latest fix was 2 dots of silicone to direct our ice water. I have contacted Geek Squad protection only to be told that the ice maker is an accessory and they will not replace the refrigerator. The hardware is also very flimsy as parts to drawers and handles have broken off in short period of time.

    ICEMAKER ON THESE DIES WITHIN 2 YEARS OF PURCHASE. I WAS TOLD MY THE REPAIRMAN THAT THERE IS A FLAW IN THIS DESIGN BY SAMSUNG. APPARENTLY THE MOIST AIR FROM THE FRIDGE ACCUMULATES IN THE ICE MAKER, PREVENTING IT FROM MAKING ICE. ALSO IT IS NOT FINGERPRINT PROOF, AS STATED.

    It is really disappointing that in less than a year we can never ever get the ice maker to work. It is a waste of a fridge without a working ice maker. Constantly we are trying to defrost it and even then it usually does not work.
