    The ice maker freeze all around the outside and does not allow it to make ice it starts out only giving you crush ice and then nothing at all, you have to turn your fridge off for a day every time to defrost the ice maker if you buy this fridge you better have a second one to make ice and keep your fridge food cold while you defrost your ice maker Other than that its a beautiful fridge

    My fridge died on Monday. Best Buy was the only one that had this fridge (the one i wanted) in stock but couldn't deliver until Friday. So i take the day off and my buddy and i went to pick it up because i couldn't wait. Get it home, wrestle it inside and put it together and it looked great. The packing on it was amazing. Great care given to every detail. i only wish the quality control was as good as the shipping department. A few hours later the fridge is at 36 degrees and the freezer is still 75. Called Samsung and they said to call Best Buy. So i called Best Buy and they said the best they can do is have one out to me on Friday! So after killing myself for the day I'm left with nothing until Friday. So not only am i no longer going to get a Samsung i have decided to get it from a different store. So buyer beware this seems to be an on going issue with this Samsung line. If it comes in like this on day one how long do you think one that works will actually last?

    Faulty ice maker!!!! Known issue!!! Don't buy!

    Replaced icemaker 5 times in less than 2yrs!!!! This is a known issue, don't buy this fridge. The ice maker is faulty and you will have to get it repaired every 4months. It leaks even after they completely repair it with new pairs. Not worth the headache.

    Ice maker has leaked and froze up since I bought it, and bought the warranty. So called in to have them fix it and they tell me I have to wait till the manufacture warranty runs out. Not satisfied and would not buy another Samsung fridge

    List of problems

    This fridge looked like it was going to be a life changer for my medium sized family.... unfortunately it was just a wreck. months after buying, the pitcher was leaking. trying to clean the thing is a pain in the neck because of the wacky locks holding the shelves in place. And worst of all, only 6 months after buying did it start the issue where it doesn't stay cold. The freezer is only getting to about 35 degrees, and the flex drawer is at 50. I've had the Samsung repair out 3 times and never fixed. last time, they told me to run my leaf blower on the filter in the back!!! that worked for exactly 2.5 days. Back to spoiled food. So after paying for this fridge, and the delivery, and the warranty, it's almost $3,000 and it's just an untrustworthy magnet holder

    Freezer does not work properly

    This fridge arrived June 1 at noon. The freezer has not gotten to the temperature it should be at even after 36 hours and using the "power freeze" function multiple times. The settings panel inside the fridge gives an inaccurate temperature, and says the freezer is colder than it actually is. All of our frozen foods have thawed because of this.

    Waste of money

    We had this fridge for 2 1/2 years when it started to make motor noises constantly. We lived with it until 3 years and one month, the compressor failed-no cooling in the fridge, the freezer or the drawer parts. A serviceman looked at it and said Samsung would have to service the compressor as manufacturer...no regular service company would. Samsung could not even send someone out to look at the fridge for two weeks, then said it would have to order parts..and if indeed it was the compressor or the relay it would be about 30 days for shipment. So that would be six weeks wtihout a fridge???? We threw it out, and bought a new fridge. It was lovely while it lasted but given the price not exactly worth it by a long shot.

    This refrig is a lemon and Samsung refuses to repair for free. My neighbor and I both bought this refrig 2 years ago and the ice maker kept freezing up and finally stopped working. Buy something else!

    Bought this back in 10/2017. The ice maker is the worst thing i have ever had to deal with. All it does is freeze. Replace 6 or 7 times. Save your money.

    A lot or wasted space and poor use of what is left

    I expected more from Samsung. Worst human engineering I've ever seen. Ability to changes shelf spacing is very limited and overly large changes. Ice/water dispenser/water pitcher takes up large volume, When filter expires (6 mo) no water or ice available. $100+ per year. Glass shelves have plastic frame around edges that don't allow flat surfaces to the edge tilt cans/jars/?? If you really want to buy this bring some typical containers you use, Half gal milk, beer bottles, wine, etc and see how few can be stored. The wasted space between storage area is another mistake. Buyer beware

    Samsung and BestBuy Will Not Repair This Model

    It looks lovely. But the compressor broke 18 months after we bought it. Despite a 5-year warranty from Best Buy, Best Buy will not repair it or replace. In fact, it does nothing but promise that in ten days they will do something. It's been six weeks. Samsung just doesn't respond. If you look on Facebook and the Internet, you'll see Samsung fridges are major lemons and the company will not respond to customer problems. Avoid this. Avoid BestBuy warranties.
