I'm disappointed in the service I got from Best Buy Geek squad and the refrigerator. I am skeptical as to how long this refrigerator will last. Here's why: -The unit makes odd noises. Nothing alarming, just odd. Things briefly rattle (as if the ice maker shifted ice out of a tray but with a noticeable rattle), the compressor stopping makes noises that sound like the compressor and hoses hitting each other... I've had other refrigerators and know they make operational noises but this one is just too different that it makes me suspicious of longevity. -The glass from one of the shelves shattered. The position of the shelf doesn't permit an object to drop on it so it was either defective from the factory or the fridge has temperature cooling issues that stressed the glass. Either way... it shattered. -Best Buy Geek Squad would not help me with the shattered glass. I was explained that the item is deemed cosmetic and the extended warranty would not cover the shelf. This isn't helpful. It was even less helpful when I was told I would need to contact Samsung to replace a part on a fridge that is less than three months old. I was basically told "good luck getting it fixed". Samsung did eventually send me the part for me to install. It was easy enough to install but the fact is I shouldn't have had to have even had this issue. On a positive note... The unit is beautiful and fits the needs of a family of four, easily. We don't overfill the unit. It's large enough of capacity and the trick door is nice. I'm hoping this unit isn't a testament to their quality... I dropped close to $5000 in Samsung products and hope the washer/dryer and robotic vacuum don't suddenly break as this did.

Great median price fridge. It cools great. Reach in door is awsome. Tons of space. Great fridge for a family.

My old fridge died overnight and I decided not keep making repairs to it. So I went to Best Buy and looked at what was available to bring home that same day. I had already decided also to upgrade the capacity since this is quite an investment that will have to last many years. After considering my alternatives, this Samsung model had everything I wanted. Having a larger capacity on top and a much larger freezer on the bottom along with all the convenience trays and a larger ice maker than most other brands. My fridge has temp read outs on the front along with very quite operation. It is night and day over the quality of older models and stores a great deal of groceries and frozen food items. I picked mine up and installed it with the help of my son, but it weighs close to 400lbs and took quite an effort to do so and would not recommend attempting on your own. Take advantage of free delivery and installation whenever possible and enjoy the upgrade to your kitchen with Samsung.

This refrigerator is a huge upgrade from our old one but they design is questionable. A couple of things...in the refrigerator part the shelves on the left side door are very small. Its hard to get anything substantial in them. Also, you have to open both french doors to get into the deli section of the fridge...unlike the vegetable sections that are split in two separate drawers. Lastly, the top part in the freezer doesn't slide back very far. We have to open both doors to the fridge to get things into the top sliding drawer of the freezer...horrible design! Its a great looking fridge but for the few design flaws...works great, its quiet and sleek.

The best parts about this refrigerator are the touch screen and the extra door in door. The door in door helps for easy and quick access to most necessities as their is plenty of shelving accessible through the opening, on top of keeping all the cold air in the fridge. The touch screen truly sold me on the model, simply because it is not as flimsy as other brands and models in this price range. All in all, a great refrigerator by a great company.

Bought this on Black Friday because of the price and the fact that Best Buy was willing to all me to push out my deliver date for months out. Lowe’s or Home Depot would only push it out for 30 days max. Reviewed numerous other refrigerators, but this seemed to be very spacious and the extra door space was a bonus. I haven’t tried the fridge yet as this was for a new home. Will update in a few months.

I love this frig. Has everything I wanted on it. Lots of room and quiet. Door in door is awesome!!

My only complaint with the Samsung Showcase refrigerator is that the door shelves aren't adjustable, and the shelves on the left door are small because of the ice maker/water dispenser. As a result, they're not as usable as they could be. But the refrigerator makes up for those shortcomings with the convenience of the Showcase door, a large and very flexible refrigerator compartment, brilliant LED lighting, and a large and usable freezer.

This fridge is very good overall. Sleek, stylish and performs well. But I am disappointed in the ice maker. It's very slow to dispense, and even on "cube" it still spits out crushed chunks. Not a deal breaker, but frustrating to say the least. For a fridge this expensive, I expect immediate response from ALL components.

I purchased the Samsung Showcase. Great value, runs quiet, ice cube dispenser actually gices you ice cubes quickly, love the adjustable shelves! A friend saw my fridge and purchased the exact model. I am extremely pleased with my purchase!!!

I replaced my 11 year fridge with this new state fridge. Samsung got it right this time. With the cold door which keeps cold in when reaching in for the milk and drinks during a hot day. Our milk stays really cold now compared to the Lg model. the lighting is fantastic. It lights up all the fridge and bottom freezer. great design. Also the ice maker replenishes ice in a jiffy. I totally commend this it any one.

Cavernous, this fridge has so much room. I wasn't sure if I really needed the pass-thru door but it's really handy for the everyday items like drinks, coffee creamer and butter. My only complaint with the design of this fridge is that there isn't a really good place for tall drinks like 2L soda bottles. The shelves in the fridge can be configured to accommodate them but they will not fit in the doors, the door pocket shelves can not change. We purchased an open box item that had one very tiny dent in the door (less than half an inch.) The condition of the fridge was documented at the store at the time of purchase but when it came off of the truck it was not wrapped and the doors had multiple dents and scuffs. The person at the 1-800 number for BestBuy was not helpful (almost rude) but our sales person at the store, Chris is Awesome! We will be receiving new doors.

It is supposed to be a large fridge but really cannot hold the taller larger containers that families usually purchase. Also, very noisy with water line for ice maker, ice maker is noisy and not working and leaking in first few weeks. Makes loud pops all the time randomly.

Love the fridge, wish the ice maker wasn't so loud and could produce more ice quickly. In hind sight, I would've chosen the type that doesn't leave so many finger prints. There are a couple of shelves that are super skinny (like only a stick of butter will fit in) but the rest is amazing... adjustable and super functional. Oddly, sometimes it seems to run louder than I thought I should, but it is so pretty and my food is keeping longer so it's a fair trade.

First of all the fridge is beautiful which prompted me to buy a floor sample which was in perfect condition. It apparently was a return for not fitting as everything inside was intact with factory seals and foam. Outside was still with factory wrapper as well. No Dents. Well, I got it delivered and in about 3 weeks the compressor would make this loud noise at start that lasted several minutes and then would be a bit more quite afterwards. Needless to say I called and Best Buy was super helpful and exchanged the fridge with no questions asked and I got another one in a few days. Well, the new one was installed and this one just has a bottom drawer vibration that drives me nuts when the compressor starts. I've tried to level it many times to the best of my ability and have somehow managed to reduce the effect. Now and then it starts again and I have to either push it on the side or adjust the bottom feet to make it go away. I've decided to keep it as it's the second one they bring and I've decided to go straight to Samsung if it gets out of hand. Today I heard a similar noise when the compressor started but was not as bad and went away quickly after so it didn't bother me. I would've never imagined that for the price you pay for these appliances, they'd have any issues like these. Very disappointed in the fridges from Samsung even though I own other equipment which I'm very satisfied with. My old 15 yr old GE fridge is in the garage now and is as quiet as ever...what happened to the quality of these new appliances...Next time I'll stick to GE when I need another appliance.... Everything else in the fridge is working very well, the ice maker, it's cooling well, space is awesome and the freezer is very good. A little too early to make a comprehensive review but we are certainly impressed with this refrigerator so far. The door in a door is a handy arrangement and was the deciding factor in our selection. The refrigerator is well laid out and we are still working to decide on the best way to utilize the space arrangements.

I recently moved into a new (to me) home. I decided to buy myself a new refrigerator for my birthday! The refrigerator that was already in the house was okay but I really wanted something with an ice maker and filtered water. There are a TON of options. I was looking at different features and decided that what I really wanted was more refrigerator real-estate because I have a standalone freezer in my garage. This refrigerator seemed perfect. I love the french doors. Several times it has come in handy having the wide refrigerator with french doors getting those tricky sized party trays and sheet cakes easily in and out! When originally looking online I did’t notice the option for the showcase door. I LOVE THIS FEATURE! So far there isn’t anything I don’t love. Now if I didn’t have the freezer in my garage I would say the freezer is a little limited but still sufficient!

We love this fridge!!! I guess if there was one thing, I wish the freezer drawer opened further. Plenty of space with easy to move shelves so that you can fit larger or taller items. The door feature is a cool bonus as well and easy to get your frequent drinks.

Looks amazing in our fridge coffin, and kitchen. It also works terrific! We don't have any issues with our ice maker or noise. I love the show case door and how beautiful and bright the inside is. One of the things I find useful is the freezer has a shelf that can be pulled out. Another Samsung product I'm satisfy with.

It's a spacious design, with the ice box as small as possible. The lighting is fantastic, and it is very quiet. If there is a complaint it is that it can't hold a large number of tall bottles, but this doesn't stop it being a 5 star review.
