DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.NOTHING TO DO WITH BEST BUY - STRICTLY ABOUT THE PITIFUL ORGANIZATION CALLED SAMSUNG: We had this fridge professionally delivered and installed on 10/17/2023. On 12/08/2023 it completely stopped working. We lost all the food in the unit (north of $700). The customer service is abysmal. We have been living out of coolers since 12/08 and that’s been a blast with my wife who is going into her third trimester of pregnancy. They have to use a third party to service the unit which made it to our home today 12/13. They figured out it is a compressor issue (sealed service) and could not complete a repair. Because we live in rural NH, they are the only service provider and are booked out WEEKS for compressors. My wife called Samsung to expedite the process and they insisted on trying to find another service provider to correct the issue. We are about to be at one week without a fridge/freezer and still have no gameplan to fix it. Samsung also refuses to commit to reimburse us for the lost food. It’s still “maybe”.. Absolute joke. There are way worse problems we could be having in life, but this is ridiculous now. We live 15-20 minutes from grocery stores, and this is grossly inconvenient with a pregnant wife. Samsung couldn’t care less. I hope this helps someone avoid wasting money and dealing with this headache.

Poor quality control/Craftmanship

Initially stopped making ice. No biggie. Then about a week later the freezer and fridge started getting warmer. The food in the freezer began thawing. Contacted Bestbuy seeing as I have only owned this unit for a month. No help; initial return window is 15 days if NOT a BB plus member, if you are its 90 days. Contacted Samsung directly; chatted with rep for over 2 hours trying to get this rectified. Samsung has one of the most frustrating warranty initiation process. Gave up and asked the rep to help me out in filling out the warranty request. They did luckily and completed it for me. Local company called within 24 hours to schedule a date, tech was past the time window (literally waited all day, 11am to 5pm) arrived at 6pm. Tech literally was there for 10 minutes and determined my freezer coil was clogged? Advised defective compressor; will have to order and reschedule install. Repair company contacted me 2 days later and scheduled a date the following week. Different tech came out; said compressor was ok; that there was a leak in the system. Showed me. Tech repaired leak and refilled system. Tech asked me how long i've had the unit, told him one month before issues started; informed me that the unit was made in 3/2023; almost a year ago before I received it. Took 2 days off work and about 3 weeks from initial issue found to resolution; seems to be cooling/freezing and making ice now. Luckily I still had my old working fridge during this time...We'll see how long this repair/fridge lasts...

Quit Working after 60 days!!!

It was great when it was working, but that only lasted 60 days. The fridge and freezer are not cooling. I placed a call with Samsung Repair Service line. They assigned me to a technician who doesn't work on fridges. So that was 4 days burned. The second technician is 2 hours away from me and is not returning my calls as his mailbox is full. I live in a city of 200,000 people and Sumsung does not have any technicians locally. I've been a week with a fridge and freezer and obviously all my food is ruined. I've called customer support several times and the only response is the Samsung Office of the President is handling the case now. DO NOT BUY THIS FRIDGE!!! Plus if you're looking for it to properly open, you must have atleast 2 inches extra on both sides of it for the doors to open properly. I've bought several Samsung products in the past but have been snakebit by this purchase.

Don't buy at Best Buy

AI writes lenghty apologies for them but they will not help you. They asked me to review a product that they have not delivered. They kept assuring me they would deliver within building restrictions and keep missing the cut-offs. I must have spoken to 10 people over the past two weeks and it is always the same - apology apology apology but I will not lift a finger to fix the problem. Go elsewhere

Disappointed customer that Best Buy can’t correct

Have had two two new replacements delivered and the same thing happened. Very disappointing and frustrating.

Rude and wasn’t worth my spending

Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.It was the worst experience i had ..i had always buy my electronics from besbuy since years and i have always pay my total tech membership okay this year i bought for my mother a refrigerator that cost me 1000 and $600 dollars i ended up paying for the delivery because they said it wasn’t included on the membership any more …so to the day that it was delivered …my parents are 60- 65…an older couple that are no able to lift or make heavy moves …so the delivery got to my parents door and my parents asked for them to move the old fridge to the side because it was heavy for them witch you team members refuse and claim that we had to pay extra for..like we couldn’t afford to pay it .my parents agree and they say yes. And they were willing to pay extra because they realize it was too heavy for them to move. Than you other team member said that we had to reschedule because moving the fridge to one side was gonna take them a whole day long and whey didn’t want to move it even though they had all the equipment to do the heavy lifting they deny to do it at this point I asked him to request a refund for me because I wasn’t about to put my parents to do the heavy lifting when one of your team members wasn’t able to help us, even though we wanted to pay the extra day rider have me asked for a refund. So my parents ended up moving the fridge themselves even though they couldn’t move it because it was really heavy your team members router No, sell the item and have your money back then help someone who is willing to pay extra
