I have always had great experiences with Samsung brand appliances and so far, all seems to be well with the new fridge. I would prefer the ice/water dispenser area was lit, but overall, very happy with the purchase. The Best Buy delivery service was amazing!

But I have had it for 1.5 years and have had 3 repairs on the fridge. 2 ice maker issues: 1 where it stopped producing ice randomly. (Out of ice for 3 weeks with part orders and repair time) 2. Would produce mushy ice and then stopped working again (out of ice for two weeks for repairs) 3. Now it sounds like my refrigerator has a diesel engine that turns on loud mode randomly. Also making mushy ice again. (Better than no ice????). We’ll see how long I’m waiting for repair this time. Ps- when the technicians came out each time they said the same thing. Samsung makes nice fridges but most of them have ice maker issues. This was my first Samsung and sure enough. The worst experience with a fridge I have ever had. I would return it if I could. THANK GOD AND BEST BUY THAT I BOUGHT GEEK SQUAD PROTECTION!

Extreamly Difficult To clean

You buys this and anything spills in it, prepare for an hour trying to find out how to remove the bottom glass without breaking something. Spend another 30-45 trying to dissemble the drawers so you can celan the food stuck between the two peices its made out of. Oh also, you will probably damage it in some way doing so. You will need tools and patience if you buy this fridge.

If you look up the reviews there are tons of issues with the ice maker and other problems. I can't find a single decent repair service near me that works on Samsung. They say it breaks too much. So I had to call Samsung. They refer you to one star places. I regret buying this refrigerator. Do not buy a refrigerator with the ice maker in the door of the refrigerator. It is a recipe for disaster.

The only time you should reset your ice maker is when you're not getting any ice, and even then, it's the last resort after other troubleshooting steps that are more likely to resolve your issue. Stay away from Samsung Fridge With Ice Maker&Water

My only requirement of a fridge was a water filter and ice maker and this fridge failed 5+ times with the ice maker and also caused the entire fridge to go down multiple times. Thank goodness for purchasing the extended warranty and being a Best Buy Total Rewards Member. If you choose to buy Samsung, do yourself a favor and ALWAYS buy the extended warranty!

But here we are after 2 yrs- once the warranty is up, & not only does the ice maker not work, but it has started a loud motor noise - indicating it’s having other issues. Holding my breath to come in with all the food ruining because it has quit altogether. In the meantime, we have a $2k piece of LOUD junk that I can’t sell (without taking a huge hit if listing it’s issues to a buyer who doesn’t need ice maker & doesn’t mind LOUD motor sounds.) What a huge mistake to buy Samsung fridge. I’ll stick to their TV (or nothing at all) next time. Hope this saves someone else. Too late for us.
