    I've had this refrigerator since October of 2020. It is now July of 2022. Neither the refrigerator nor the freezer are currently working, and the ice machine has been a nightmare to deal with for the past year. Today we were told that the dryer is damaged and that the compressor will need to be replaced; however, because Samsung is in South Korea we will need to wait for the compressor to be imported because the service tech can only use genuine parts. That may take two to three weeks. Two to three weeks without a refrigerator, a five year old, and a one year old. Do not buy from this company.

    Here’s my review for a chance to win that $400 gift card. Has been nothing but problems with the ice machine. Geek squad has been here 3 times to replace stuff on the ice machine. Fridge is now out of warranty and has stopped cooling down. Purchased this fridge back in June 2020 not even 4 years old yet. Everything is clean but they always find a way to blame the issues on you. Won’t be purchasing anything Samsung ever again.

    I bought this fridge in summer 2021. 3 months later we started having problem with the ice box Ice getting stuck then falling on the floor etc... Now the fridge as well as the freezer do not work. I called Samsung right away. NO help. Called again today. What a waste of time. Now lost about $500 in groceries as it is mother's day tomorrow. We have no fridge and Samsung is not doing anything.

    Never buying Samsung again

    I gotta say, I used to LOVE Samsung products. When we moved Into our new home 3 years ago, we bought everything Samsung. Washer, dryer, tv, and fridge. The washer’s motherboard broke in under 2 years and would cost more than it was worth to replace and now the fridge is breaking. The water dispenser is malfunctioning and the ice machine is garbage. We've already replaced the washer with an LG and it’s working great, bought a separate ice maker and will probably be replacing the fridge within the year because I don’t like buying bottles and we go through a lot of water. It’s very difficult to get someone out to look at it and if it’s anything like the washer, there’s nothing they can do and you’re out $400. I believe Samsung has a class action against them for their fridges already. Just go with a different brand and save the headache.

    Buyer beware, poor reliability and service

    It a nice refrigerator when it works, mine had issues, after 3 service calls samsung technician stated unit was unrepairable. The icemaker did not work, it leaked water inside and out, and was unable to maintain consistent temperature in freezer or refrigerator compartments. Service technician stated since unit under warranty I would have option to either have it replaced or get refund. Chose refund, process took 5+ weeks, 20+ phone calls, to get payment.

    Stopped working after 5 months!

    I purchased this refrigerator in July 2020 and it broke down completely in the first week of December 2020. I never in my wildest dreams thought that a high end brand such as Samsung will push out a product without taking proper measures to ensure quality assurance. Most refrigerators have a life span of over 15 or 20 years before displaying any issues but thats clearly not the case for Samsung. Samsung needs to focus on making phones and televisions and leave home appliances for other company's that know what they are doing. Samsung customer service is also a pain, its been 4 weeks now and still no resolution. Imagine a family of 5 being out of a refrigerator for 4 weeks especially during the festive season, its a nightmare. I'll take a microphone and announce to all who care to read/listen to run away from Samsung products especially this one.

    This model after 2020 purchase does not work. . The ice maker stopped working and now the fridge will not cool at all . This model will give you nothing but trouble. If you care about money and time ..this is not the model you want . I just got off the phone with Samsun directly and they told me i have to call back to have the freezer looked at even tho i have an appt to fix the cooling issue.. Dont waste your time . Let my headache be your salvation when it comes to this model.

    Not easy to clean when there’s a spill inside. Almost impossible to lift the glass to clean under it. Also water drips after your done filling your glass with water. Disappointing. Should’ve done more research and read more reviews.

    Scratches easy and sprung a leak after only 10 months from water filter assembly! Are you kidding me? Fingerprints grow on the surface . Cheaply made and little ability to move shelves. Avoid at all cost!

    Will not Last.

    Absolutely awful quality and support. Within two years the compressor died. Samsung didn't have any repair facilities in my area to fix it - UNDER WARRANTY. We finally worked that out and two months later the refrigerator died again. The service center refused to take responsibility and Samsung is passive on trying to fix. I had to buy a mini fridge and freezer to use while they re-repair their warranty repair. I lost all my food TWICE. I used to be a huge Samsung fan, but their quality has gone down hill. The ice maker is awful as well.

    Another bad Samsung ice maker.

    I purchased this on October 24, 2020. Like so many others the ice maker has frozen up and stopped making ice. I am one month out of manufacturer warranty. I called Samsung and the want to charge me $600 for a technician to come out to fix it. Looking into this SAMSUNG is facing class action lawsuits for their ice makers issues on their products. BUYER BEWARE.

    AOVID AVOID AVOID......I CANNOT STRESS THIS ENOUGH!!!! Never buy a samsung refridgerator. Pieces of junk that will only last a couple years. All have same problems, ice maker inop, no water dispense and Samsung will want to charge you to repair it. Seriously, never buy a samsung fridge. Pay more and get much more.     Terrible! Looks nice however the ice machine stops working after you change the water filter. It randomly starts working again after a few weeks. At 4 years old the refrigerator stopped cooling food. Now we have to find someone to repair it. Samsung should stick to electronics.
