Bought mine as a refurb off of Woot with no problems. Love the curvature as it really helps see the edges of the screen with your peripheral vision. For around $200 the image is good. You can't expect the very best image at this price but it is fine for 90% of all users, esp. those who don't need super-high refresh rates for fast gaming. Out of the box I found the included Samsung HDMI cable to be a throw away item. Poor quality HDMI cable and it didn't make a secure connection when put into an HDMI port. Get a better cable. I substituted a cheap $8 AmazonBasics HDMI cable and it worked just fine. Some of the detractors of this monitor who complain of blackouts during use are probably using that cheap Samsung "freebee" cable. Once you set it up you'll want to go through a calibration test with it for the best image. First thing is to find the best color profile for it as this makes a HUGE difference in what you'll see on the LED screen. I'm using it on a Mac and used a RGB-CMYK color gradient test chart. On this display I found the best color profile for me was "Display P3". It showed all the graduated steps in the color calibration charts on the screen. Go to the Eizo Monitor Test (google it) to run through the calibration setup. I set up for "Display P3" color profile and then run my Brightness at 100%, Contrast at 80% and Sharpness at 40% for the best image. Don't run the sharpness too high or you'll see pixelation on small fonts when they are blown up on this 27" screen. Remember, this isn't a Retina type screen with high PPI counts. Having a little bit of smoothness acts like anti-aliasing so go for sharpness in the 40-50% range. If you are using a Mac and want to later adjust the brightness & contrast on the fly, look up the freeware "MonitorControl 2.0" which will let you do that using a pull-down menu in the Mac menu bar. I rate this monitor 5-stars given the fairly low cost and what you get for it. I was previously using a high quality, flat 22 inch monitor from Viewsonic that was 4 years old and switching to this larger curved monitor made it much easier to read text for my 60+ year old eyes.

Well, I only had the monitor for a week, and it is not working. I am going to get it replaced or fixed. If it breaks down again, I will be asking for a refund.

Not recommended to buy at best buy..this is not height adjustable .

1 Out of the 3 monitors purchased were defective. Best Buy was unhelpful in returning + Replacing the product. Samsung's warranty team has also been very ineffective with helping provide a solution. this problem will take nearly 2-3 months to resolve.
