This monitor has been amazement to my girlfriend and I. We’re super glad we got this on the black friday sale and it couldn’t have came at a better time. If you’re using an Nvidia graphics card and trying to get the best performance you need G-Sync. The difference is night and day especially if you run it at its highest potential at 240hz. The only upgrades from this would be 1440p or 4k at 144hz. 1080 is amazing still and especially if you’re playing those esports titles or have a system that can run 1080 to its highest potential.

Our other Monitor broke and Best Buy replaced it with no issues. My Son loves his Monitor.

It was a good product but I preferred to go with a different monitor. If you really want curved though, this was a good option.

This monitor is great! Easy setup... Just a heads up to any new PC people like myself... I did not know that you need a certain cable to utilize the g sync feature or to even get 240hz. My old displayport cable was not able to reach the max Hrz or use g sync. So i had to buy one that did. Also 2nd day I had this monitor it did start buzzing out... I restarted my PC and it worked as normal. So maybe get the warrenty... it is pricey monitor... but I got this at $280. Also, yes you can use this monitor for consoles... it just won't be able to get 240 refresh rate. So honestly if youre getting this for consoles its a waste since you won't be utilizing the monitor to its fullest....

What a difference from a TV/Monitor. Love Gaming and watching Netflix, Amazon Movies. The color and speed of refresh rate is awsome.

I purchased this monitor to give 240hz, VA panels, curved monitors, and 1080p at 27 inches a try. 240hz versus 144 or 165 is a negligible experience in my opinion. The only games you're going to get a solid 240hz on are competitive FPS and similar games, with lowered settings. Not only that, many CPUs would likely bottleneck the GPU at this point. 27 inch 1080p looks like trash in comparison to 1440p. The pixels per inch is so low it just makes it look washed out and lacking detail. I had no issues with the VA panel besides the colors, but that's more likely due to the low PPM. Contrast was fantastic, and there was minimal backlight bleed or glow. Ghosting and trailing known to plague older VA panels wasn't obviously apparent, unless the frame rate dipped considerably. The curvature was just unnecessary for a 27 inch screen at 16:9. It makes way more sense on an ultra-wide. Here, it's just pointless. Finally, if this monitor speaks for other G-Sync compatible monitors, then I can officially say that G-Sync compatible and/or FreeSync sucks. The flickering is unacceptable and annoying. True G-Sync really does make a difference when it comes to a smoother experience. If you want my opinion, go with an IPS, 1440p, 144hz+, G-Sync monitor. The biggest and only real fault for newer IPS screens is backlight bleed and IPS glow. That will always be its greatest drawback. Even so, it's the better choice. IPS has reached an era of faster pixel response times and amazing colors with newer techs such as nano-IPS. Thanks for reading!

Bright and clear with great refresh rate to see all the action. Perfect size for the typical dorm room desk.

I bought two of these monitors for one system and I am very happy with them. Setup was VERY easy. I have had great experience using SAMSUNG Monitors. When making my choice, the staff were very accommodating as I went through several monitor choices. This even with the numbers of folks coming into the department with questions and only a couple of staff available. I prefer the brick and mortar store because I can see the product "in action."
