Words won’t describe how cool this monitor is. Bought it for my RTX2060 gaming laptop (laptop has native 144hz display) and I can actually play all my games in 240fps now! Gorgeous and smooth display! Love the curved screen! Got it for a decent deal but I’ve already spent so many hours on It that I’m probably paying pennies per hour. Halo infinite looks insane on this thing!

upgraded from a 60 hz to this beats you can imagine the improvement and it being curve feels kind of natural to look.

My son got this for his online gaming and school work. Hasn't had a problem with it since we purchased it.

This monitor is very good. Great color and awesome refresh rate. Only complaint would be the menu/ switching sources all come from one button under the center of the monitor.

The max refresh rate on the monitor is 240 Hz, as listed. This is great for gaming with a powerful desktop, but a bit excessive for using a Mac, as to my knowledge Macs support 120 FPS maximum. The monitor cannot be raised or lowered using the provided stand, which can potentially be space-inefficient. The monitor has a variety of customization options. My main complaint is that I've found that I need to manually turn the monitor on instead of it waking up automatically when my computer wakes up. This may not be a problem for Windows/desktop users.

If you pay less than $200 for this monitor than it’s a spectacular deal. It is decent quality l. Mine wasn’t very sharp but the colors were good. The curve was great for gaming! The issues I had were the hdmi connection. I had to constantly unplug and plug the hdmi back in for it to work. I ended up returning this monitor for a more expensive LG monitor. The LG works flawlessly! When I bought the Samsung it was $268 but for $169 if you get one without HDMI issues then buy this immediately because it’s great for that price!

I bought this monitor to be prepared for my new gaming PC when it arrives in the mail and so far, it seems really great. As of now, I’ve only used it with my work computer so I can’t really comment on how well the G-Sync works but from watching videos and doing my normal work tasks, the features work how they’re supposed to. Just be careful when you’re buying this if you’re planning to use a VESA mount with it. It’s perfectly VESA compatible with 75x75 mounts, but I guess the engineers at Samsung were never told that virtually every readily available VESA mount on the market designed for monitors is both 75x75 AND 100x100 compatible. The problem there is that the part that sticks out past the 75x75 portion of the mount won’t fit properly due to the mounting area on the back of the monitor being recessed. I tried reaching out to Samsung to see if they had a recommended VESA mount for this monitor and they gave me nothing. I tried looking for an adapter for this monitor and there’s nothing for it. I tried to find a VESA mount that is only 75x75 without the 100x100 portion and couldn’t find anything on that front either. The only solutions I could find for this issue were to either use long spacers to allow clearance of the raised lip which could be a viable option but it seems a bit sketchy and looks like it would put excess pressure on the mounting screws rather than distributing the weight across the whole backplate OR take an angle grinder to the VESA mount and cut off the 100x100 portion to basically create your own 75x75 mounting bracket which seems like the better option of the two in the long run but I live in a 1 bedroom apartment and don’t have access to and angle grinder. All of that being said, if you are fine using the stand or have your own mounting solution, this monitor should work well for you.

I would give this 5 stars, but the holes they have in the back for the vesa mounts do not fit properly. The top holes are too close to the top curve of the indented circle, thus making it impossible to mount. Could you go to the hardware store and buy longer screws, washers, and bolts to make it work? Absolutely. But, the back needs to be re-designed to actually give enough room for the vesa mount to fit. Maybe there's another "size" vesa mount out there that would work, but the blanket statement of "vesa mount compatible" is very misleading. Overall, if you don't need it mounted, it has very good picture and refresh. I normally go with a 1ms refresh, but the 4ms is hardly noticeable to me - but I'm not using it for a gaming profession - more just casually playing/streaming PvP and solo campaign games.

Couldn't be tilted and came with missing components, a bit upsetting. But monitor wise it is very nice and no issues so far.
