Good monitor

The specs are good and the screen is nice and wide. The only issue i had was with the setup. The tower I was trying to plug it into didn't have the correct port for the cable that came with the computer, so I had to get an adapter. Other than that, it was very easy to setup.

It wasn’t until after I installed the drivers and changed it to actually reach its max refresh rate that I noticed things are pretty different and a lot smoother. Been using the monitor for gaming regularly and it’s been fantastic.

Garbage Monitor
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This is my first gaming monitor and I had no idea what to expect. I purchased this monitor in store. I noticed a couple weeks after purchase that there were scan line effects on particular blue and orange colors. I tried different video cards, GTX 1060 and RX470, Display and HDMI cables and factory resetting monitor. Motion blur is horrid and I replaced a 7 year old monitor (Acer B6 B296CLbmiidprz) and in terms of image quality, my old Acer wipes the floor with this thing. I do understand that this is a 1080p 27 in monitor and well aware of the lower pixel density. My wife has a 32 in 1080p HP monitor and the image quality of this Samsung is worse on Pictures and simple text. I called Samsung support and ended up sending the monitor to one of their repair facilities. after about three weeks they replaced part number bn95-07114A and I received the same monitor back. After some time using it, the scanline issue is still there, it's about 90% better but on specific colors and angles I see the same issue. The light bleed is even worse and I wish I could just get my money back so I can afford another monitor. The colors are extremely washed out and now I'm stuck with this junk....
