    Bought this for my son and he loved it for about 8 months. Image was great and refresh rate was pretty good for the price. However it being curved makes them even more fragile than normal. We were carefully cleaning the screen with a dry towel and the leds "SPIDERED" big time on one side of the screen. Make sure you purchase the protection plan!

    Defective and now we wait

    Within less that a week we noticed lines at the bottom of the screen. Had to return to Samsung and now waiting two weeks or so for “ the part to repair it”. . So it was a defective monitor and now nothing to use for schoolwork! They should have sent me a new one !! Son has same one and his is great. So if yours works it’s great- if it’s defective you’re screwed. Unhappy ☹️

    This monitor is 4m/s response time and I promise the 240hz refresh does not make up for it.

    Faulty LCD

    Had a faulty screen had it for 2 days, super sensitive they told me it was vesa mountable. Bought a VESA mount unboxed it and went to turn it on and noticed a crack in the screen. I don't know if it was my unit that was faulty or they are like this. I also wasn't asked for a protection plan, almost as if they knew that It would be faulty.

    The title says it all. The monitor is advertised as VESA mount ready, it is not. Its an extremely faulty design. There are holes to mount it with, yes. But the design of the back requires you to buy a 3rd party adapter (good luck finding one looked for 2 weeks) or a 3rd party mount that is $399.99. This wouldn't be that big of a deal if it wasn't VESA mount ready... except the stand of the monitor will take up roughly your whole desk. There was a lot of flickering during heavy black screens as well. I returned this monitor after 2 weeks, it was probably the worst monitor on the market for $399.

    Monitor looks great, but came with a dead pixel in the top center of the screen. Frustrating and too much of a hassle to return during the pandemic. Best Buy's near me are not open and I don't have a printer to create a return label. Disappointing purchase.

      Thank you for purchasing the Samsung - Odyssey Gaming CRG5 Series 27" Display.

      Please know that this monitor does indeed tilt. It has a tilt range of -2° to +15°, as listed in the User Manual.

      Place the monitor on a flat sturdy surface, hold the base down firmly with one hand, grasp the top center of the bezel with your other hand and push firmly and gently back. This should tilt the monitor screen back. To tilt the monitor down, just push the bottom of the bezel gently and firmly back while pulling the top of the bezel towards you.

    I ordered this monitor from Best buy along with my new gaming PC. I kept getting email updates of my order and after almost 3 weeks I received an email stating my order it's being cancelled because best buy wasn't sure when they'll get the monitor from the manufacturer. This was very frustrating to say the least. V

    For the money it was great value, but every other time we would use it we couldn't get it to register the PC was plugged into it. Tried HDMI tried new display cords and it just kept doing it, traded it in for Omen monitor. Hard to write this as all of my TVs are Samsung and we love them
