'Just as good as the Apple Studio 27"

I needed to replace my 'broken' iMac which has a 27" monitor screen. Apple is unfortunately no longer offering a 27" i Mac model (only 24" with a different undesirable look), so my choices after buying a new Mac Mini were an Apple 27" Studio monitor (read $$$) or try and find something way more affordable at Best Buy. At the store I could compare many models, but I always feel one gets what one pays for. So I opted for this product even though it was more expensive than others on display. This Samsung offers a great look with its base stand and I really like the very small edge of silver around the screens perimeter. Packaging is outstanding. Colors are magnificent and the couple newbie issues were resolved quickly with their excellent customer support line. Love it and half the price of the Apple one.

The Odyssey OLED G6 is an amazing monitor. The OLED screen looks incredible with deep blacks, vibrant colors, and very smooth motion. Gaming feels super responsive and everything looks sharp and fluid. It’s also great for watching videos because the contrast is so good. The design is clean and modern, and it feels high quality overall. Definitely worth it if you want a fast, great-looking display.

The Samsung Odyssey G6 OLED is a fast and sharp 27-inch gaming monitor with a 360Hz refresh rate and super quick response time, making it great for competitive gaming. The OLED screen shows deep blacks, bright colors, and strong contrast, which looks amazing in games and videos. It has a sturdy stand, glare protection, and features to help prevent screen burn-in. Some small downsides are that text can look a little fuzzy and you’ll need a powerful PC to get the most out of it.

This monitor is insane! Super smooth at 360 Hz and the colors are unreal thanks to the OLED. Games look sharp and feel super responsive with zero lag. It’s not super bright in sunlight, but in normal lighting it’s perfect. Easily one of the best monitors I’ve owned.

Beautiful monitor. Don't hate me, I use it for work because the colors and black levels are more pleasing to me. The experts who talk about font readibilitu are exaggerating. Remember the days of using a 640 resolution monitor for work and coding? The thing some people may not like is the brightness of an OLED, so I love it for work, but maybe not for everybody. Previous to this I tried a 4K IPS and the 4K was too ridiculous for work, plus the colors washed out on IPS. Also that 4K monitor was an MSI which are the worst monitors you can buy. I have more faith in the Samsung. KVM would have been nice for the price though.

The Sweet Spot: Why the Samsung G60SD is the OLED

I’ve been searching for a monitor that doesn’t force me to choose between buttery-smooth performance and jaw-dropping visuals, and the Samsung G60SD is the first that genuinely feels like it refuses to make that compromise. Jumping from 144Hz to 360Hz with that 0.03ms response time is like taking weights off my ankles—motion blur basically doesn’t exist, and tracking targets in Valorant or Apex feels almost like cheating. But the real magic is that it doesn’t sacrifice picture quality to get there. The QD-OLED panel delivers deep, inky blacks and colors that make single-player games look absolutely spectacular, and the “Glare Free” matte coating actually works, letting me play during the day without staring at my own reflection. The brightness isn’t going to sear your eyeballs like a high-end Mini-LED, so if you’re in a sun-drenched room, it looks good but not mind-blowing, and text can show slight color fringing if you use it for work. If you’re a competitive gamer who also loves cinematic single-player titles, this is arguably the best monitor on the market right now. It gives you esports-level speed without forcing you to look at a washed-out screen when you switch to Cyberpunk or God of War. Physically, the monitor looks sleek with its thin silver finish, and the flat stand actually gives me a place to rest my controller. The price has finally started dropping to a reasonable range, and while it’s not cheap, it feels worth every penny for the versatility. Just know what you’re getting into with the brightness and text clarity, and you’ll be more than happy.

Absolutely love this monitor and how bright and vivid it gets. It was a little too red for my eyes, so after bringing that down, it looks just how I wanted to. The 27 inch at 1440p looks good and the refresh rate is nice, though I don't really play games that benefit from over 120.

As a long time gamer, the refresh rate and response time is always a top priority. Motion is smooth, and competitive games feel incredibly responsive. I've come across a lot of monitors in my years and the input lag and color on this OLED monitor is Superior. Top feature I like is the fact for an OLED it really tries to minimize the burn in effect by reducing the brightness of the monitor when not in use/idle! Having it over a year, no problems or issues and firmware update is easy with dedicated USB slot in the back.

Amazing picture quality. Looks good in the games I’ve tried in the week since we’ve used it: Hogwarts Legacy, COD, Fortnite. I haven’t customized the display settings yet since the pc is also new, but I do get eye strain even while playing in the daytime. There’s an eye comfort menu option on the monitor (power button) that I turned on low but my eyes still hurt when playing for at least an hour. I’ve never had an OLED monitor so it may just be an OLED thing. Unboxing and set up was quick and simple. I do find the power button difficult to use with medium length nails. The monitor/stand also wobbles anytime the desk is slightly bumped into but it’s a solid monitor so I don’t think it’ll knock over.

This is a fantastic monitor that I picked up on a Black Friday sale. It is an insanely fast OLED panel at 360hz. The glossy panel has a wonderful picture with deep blacks and vibrant colors. The screen can pick up glare from lights in the room, but it is very manageable and hasn't been a an issue for me. The features are also impressive with two HDMI 2.1 ports and a KVM switch to easily switch between two computers. It is also fully compatible with Series X and PS5 as it can accept a 4K signal and downscale to 1440p. I highly recommend this monitor.

Very nice monitor for the 2K resolution field. Monitor hasn’t caused any issues whatsoever, flickering occurred due to conflicting driver and monitor settings although that’s user error not the monitor itself.

If you play games regularly, the difference is night and day. The contrast vs my IPS does not compare at all. I'm sure you've heard all the advantages of OLED, so the disadvantages (minor) I'll point out. 1) Brightness can be an issue for some, as its not quite as bright as my IPS panel monitor. However, it's only minor for me because my room is not too bright in general; so no need it to be too bright anyway. The deep colors, contrast, and overall vividness of the display are pros that outweigh this con. 2) I have OLED burn-in anxiety. This model has some features and screen optimization to help this know OLED issue. However I have not had it long enough nor have noticed any sign of burn-in (fortunately). Despite the features, I try to keep my usage of the monitor for games and videos. I keep the static images to a minimum when I can help it.

This monitor looks amazing and has great color, response time, and doesn't scream gaming monitor which i love. The only consistent issue i have with the monitor is the pixel shift goes too far over and cuts of a decent chunk of the left side of the screen. and only the left side. The close button on mac will disappear and the only way to see it again is to restart the monitor. Samsung says this is a feature and not a bug, so i cant in good conscience give a 5 star review. 4 stars because it is inherently flawed. They say its not a problem if the edge is cut off on their wesbite, but i cant see buttons so it *is* an issue. Go with a different brand that doesnt have the issue with pixel shift cutting if your gonna spend that much money. There is no way this is working as intended.

This monitor looks really good at all angles and gets plenty bright enough for me to enjoy. having gone from an ips panel to this i noticed this one was not as bright and the colors seemed a little off so out of the box you definitelyhave to play with setting a bit but once you got it where you like it, its amazing.
