It’s fine. I bought it to replace my second monitor that broke, screen is big and gets pretty bright, great for watching something on the side. The control stick on the back is a little difficult to reach around from any comfortable angle. Because the screen gets so bright, I do need to adjust sometimes which can be annoying. The stand also doesn’t have very much flexibility in terms of angles, but it is lightweight enough and feels sturdy enough.

The 1080p resolution at 27 inches is pretty poor, with pixels so big you can smell them, the pixel response time is so slow you can taste it, and the picture quality is so average you might even sigh when you turn it on, but you pay for that. For the price this is a great monitor. The 100hz refresh rate is generous and smooth, the panel is an ips type so the viewing angles are very good, the contrast ratio is decent, and the brightness is adequate for a dimly lit room. If you’ve looked at a modern day decent Chromebook or windows laptop, that is what you’re getting here in terms of quality. As long as you don’t need pixel density and brightness, this is perfect for you. If you are currently using a 60hz office monitor, this will be a huge upgrade.

Crisp picture and the 100Hz refresh keeps everything smooth and fluid. Easy setup and looks great on my desk. Very happy with it.

I originally walked into the monitor aisle looking for something bigger for my speadsheets. I walked out with this Samsung S3, and after a week of use, I realized I had accidentally stumbled onto a major productivity hack. When you plug this in, it might dafault to 60Hz. Do yourself a favor and change to 100Hz. The difference isn't just for gamers. As someone who spends 8+ hours a day scrolling through long docs and emails, that extra smoothness is a total game-changer for eye fatique. I did a "Check Store availability" on the app, drove over, and the Blue Shirt at the counter actually helped me compare this side-by-side with a higher-end 4K model. Honestly, for home office setup, the color accuracy on this IPS is very good that I couldn't justify spending 3X the price. Highly recommended for students or working from home and want "premium" feel without the premium price tag. Pros: 100Hz smothness, minimalist one-button joystick menu, light weight Cons: No built-in speakers, but that would drive up the price

Great screen, awesome refresh rate. Great for gaming and just to surf the net. I love it because I can use it for my iPad to make a bigger and better all around. Was not looking to spend a lot on a monitor. Was able to grab this 27 screen for a reasonable price and not break the bank. I’m also a huge fan of Samsung products. From tv’s to monitors I love it.

The 100Hz display does add a bit of a better feel to it, but its a standard office environment or study room monitor. The contrast and color isn't anything to write home about but works perfect for browsing and general work

Beautiful screen and a great buy at the current prices of around a hundred dollars. Not a gaming monitor but works great for daily use. I bought two of these for use on my machines.

Nice picture quality. Power button is a bit hard to reach where I have it (mounted above another monitor). If you have it standing normally, it shouldn't be an issue.

This monitor is the perfect size. It also has amazing quality. The stand isn't adjustable though.
