    bought this specific refrigerator in June 2018 and ice maker froze up 2 months later. Samsung came out and replaced the ice maker. Doesn't matter that they put in a new ice maker because it freezes up every 4-6 weeks. Have to pull out the ice tray and thaw. There is a huge frozen build up all around the ice machine. Usually we have to thaw with a blow dryer. The repairman commented this is a big problem with the Samsung ice makers. Ice maker doesn't make much ice and we usually fill a bag with ice and put in the freezer. The inside refrigerator is ok but not a lot of space for big juice container other then the door. Lots of fingerprints on the refrig that need to be wiped off constantly. We have another refrigerator that is 12 years old, Kenmore that doesn't have all the fancy gadgets, but the ice maker has only had to be repaired once since we have had it.

    Ice machine broke shortly after I purchased it. The protection plan attempted to fix the ice machine 6 times before just taking the refrigerator back.

    Love the look of the black stainless and the door handles. However, black stainless shows prints just as bad as the stainless. The doors do not close smoothly unless you push them. We tried to make adjustments but nothing worked. Went to the store and tried e showroom model and determined that was just he way they were gong to close. The ice dispensing is extremely slow. Minimal amount of ice produced by the ice maker.

    This fridge's life is 5 years or less. I bought this few months after I saw this same model at a friend's house. My friend's fridge stopped making ice before the end of 5 years and luck for him, his fridge was replaced. Mine started having problems right after 5 years completed. I may have to pay for the labor and service as I am out of warranty. I feel that these items only have a life time of the warranty. I recommend keeping an eye towards end of 5 years and getting it serviced before warranty is out if you have this fridge

    Horrible ice maker problems

    Bought this back in 2018. It’s 2023. At least 4 times a year the ice maker needs to be defrosted. Stops working. Never buy a Samsung refrigerator. This problem apparently has persisted for years now in all their refrigerators.

    The ice maker is really terrible on this fridge and to make things worse the ice maker flap opens and closes as you open the left door. Samsungs customer service just makes things worse…

    Would not reccomend

    So due to the location of the fridge in my kitchen and error of the previous owner's layout design, I had very little choice in which kind of fridge I could get where I would be able to even open the right side of the doors to get into the fridge or freezer as the handles hit into the wall. The fridges with handles, I could barely get it open at 45 degrees.. The only reason I decided on this refrigerator was because of the 4 door opening and that it had no handles finally allowing me to be able to open the right sides at 90 degrees and allowing me to actually get into that side. For me, that was a positive. Another positive of this refrigerator is the modern look of it. Other than that, I regret this purchase and wish I never bought it. The paint easily (and I really mean effortlessly) scratches. This applies to dents as well. Fingerprint proof? Nope. Shows every little smudge. Don't use paper towels to clean it but cloth by the way. My MIL bought a different fridge from another big brand and it is giant compared to this one with so much space inside and along the doors. With this one, the left top side door drawers are basically useless. Not much will fit into the containers as those are around the ice maker. Which brings me to the ice maker. I've already had to have the fridge serviced because the ice maker broke in 6 months. Getting through to Samsung and then having someone get back to me about scheduling a repair took weeks, maybe 2 months. Terrible customer service. Countless phone calls. No call backs. Finally after countless calls I demanded the number to the service center so that I could call myself. The repair guy that they sent was a nightmare. Got water all over the entire kitchen. Broke a dish and hid it. Left me a mess to clean up. The ice dispenser is also tiny. Dispenses so slowly. So if you don't mind the delay in waiting for it to start up and then waiting some more to get some ice in, sure. It's ok for a couple people to use but forget multiple people using the ice maker or using it for parties. The shelf above the storage bins in the top half is just tall enough to hold an egg container, anything taller will not fit. Sure you can adjust it and make it taller but then a milk gallon will not fit above. It's now been a year and a half of usage and it's starting to make some sort of buzzing noise. Do yourself a favor and buy another brand. Because this is not worth the price paid and if you ever have an issue, Samsung customer service is a nightmare.

    Great fridge

    Had some issues with the ice tray leaking and freezing to the point where we had to pull it out and use a hair dryer to completely melt it. This ended up being covered under warranty and was fixed over a year ago and we have not had an issue since! I've only used the flex section as a fridge so I do not know how well it works as a freezer

    Terrible Ice Maker

    The ice maker of this Samsung refrigerator has been defective right from the start. We've had this refrigerator for 5 years now and we still have issues with the ice maker. The issue is that it keeps freezing inside the ice maker and then everything is stuck and no ice is produced until you clean everything inside. I don't recommend this refrigerator at all

    Nice looking but terrible design with ice

    Nice looking, easily cleaned and shelves are nice with foldaway design. Option to make the lower right portion a fridge or freezer is pretty cool. Ice maker is terrible. It freezes up ALL the time, no matter how much we use the thing. That gives it 2 stars because we shouldn't have to be defrosting our fridge like this so often.

    Perfect frig but a horrible icemaker. I am writing this review because when I read reviews before purchase, no one mentioned bad icemaker. Apparently Samsung knows this and has approved two fixes that may or may not work. That's only after you become a "screamer" and hope you get it done in warranty period. Read reviews on danbeahm.com for facts and fixes other customers have come up with. Good luck

    We have had this flex refrigerator for 18 months. While I agree it is beautiful, that really is where the good parts end. Inside is laid out ok. The depth of it makes things get buried in the back. The doors are a hole, and you can't fit much of anything in the narrow ones. The I've maker is terrible. It constantly friars up and stops working, and the I've that it makes is soft. We had the control board replaced after 6 months because the flex zone let freezing. We just had a new compressor installed for the same reason. Just.. Not a good unit. Especially on a 3000 dollar fridge. But it's pretty...

    There are some design flaws. The upper most shelf can't be adjusted any higher, yet is to low for a gallon of milk. This means that the shelf directly above or below wherever you choose to put your milk is only about 5" tall, you can only put a carton of eggs or anything about that height on it. The break-a-way shelf is a pain because it doesn't lock securely. I ended up duct taping mine in place. The door shelves are MINISCULE, you have to watch what you put in them because sometimes you have to remove them and turn them upside down to get things out. But, the absolute worst feature is that there is a tiny little pin hole in the top of the vegetable crispers that things can work their way into but is impossible to get out. The things that get caught begin to rot and you can only watch the mold spread or buy new drawers. This model should come with pipe cleaners. I'm greatly disappointed with this refrigerator. I loved the idea of freezer doors rather than the huge drawer, and I do absolutely love the freezer, but to do over, I'd buy a side-by-side. The refrigerator design flaws severely cut down on the actual usable space. I'm guessing that the useable refrigerator space is actually only 2/3 of the reported cubic footage.

    As the title states, awesome in keeping things cold and fresh, but ice maker has been having issues since day one. Now that the warranty is out, samsung won't take responsibility for their defective product. Guess I will have to deal with the water leaking into the motor by my own self until I can figure out what other manufacturer to go with.

    This was delivered. No wine rack. I called Best Buy. They swore up and down this doesn’t have a wine rack despite the Soe if ovations in the model that I ordered clearly stated Wine Rack Included and the manual stating it was included.
