I got this model for a few key reasons: 1) matches other kitchen appliances 2) wife likes french door style, and 3) the Autofill pitcher! Seriously, the autofill pitcher is the best slightly upgraded feature and it's worth it over the basic internal water dispenser (and we don't like the external dispenser anyways). Otherwise this is all the basics you need in a fridge (icemaker, good space/layout), and none of the extra luxuries that we couldn't justify the budget for.

Only slight thing that isn’t the biggest deal but should mention is that the pitcher does leak a bit if we tilt too far when pouring if that makes any sense . But it’s honestly not even a big deal. (: love the desire it has if the door is open for too long it will ring. (You could turn this feature off if you find it annoying)

It is well designed, plenty of storage space, well illuminated and the internal water dispenser is very convenient and a nice added feature. I would recommend this appliance without hesitation. The Black stainless steel color looks great and is fingerprint resistant. The Autofill pitcher is great and fills it up within seconds. The built in filter does filter the hard water but doesn't bring down the TDS count by a lot.

The shelves are sleek and spill proof. The drawers and door compartments are solid. I love the self filling pitcher. The water is crystal clear and tastes great. I saw some complaints about the ice, but ours have been perfect. No complaints at all.

I love the filtered water–rather than having a small spout on the outside, it has a carafe built into the inside of the door. This is much easier to use and very convenient. On the other hand, I dislike the temperature control mechanism. The refrigerator can be set for anywhere from 37F to 44F and hitting the button will change the temperature by one degree. But there is no indication of whether hitting the button lowers or raises the temperature. Moreover the display shows the actual temperature, but not to what it is set. So when you hit the button, you are randomly hoping to get the desired temperature and not sure if it is setting correctly unless you check later on. In addition, I have drinks on one of the two shelves in the refrigerator. The shelves ought to be stable, but three times I have found that the shelf is listing to one side because it is not in the groove where it should be and set tight. I don't know what more to do to get the shelf stable. Despite these drawbacks, the refrigerator is working well, looks nice, and has ample space.

The water pitcher unit needs to be replaced, as it’s defective. They’ve ordered a new door, as well, just in case that is the issue. I purchased in November and it wasn’t delivered until mid-January, so the warranty better have started at delivery. Let’s hope my issues aren’t ongoing with this.
