If your ice bin even gets half full you’ll be losing ice cubes underneath the unit every you open and close the freezer. If not for the ice maker this gets a 5 star review.

Samsung has hit another homerun. One truly unexpected surprise - the water produced from the filter is pure. There is not a hint of filtration taste, additive taste or faucet/tap water taste. Every time I pour a glass, I am compelled to look at the glass in wonderment. I will stock up on filters, just in case any design or product changes are on the drawing board (don't fix it because it isn't broken).

Even cooling, large freezer is much bigger than appears. The water filter pitcher was the reason we purchased. It does fail quite often as many online reviews show. It must be completely dry on the top and bottom and you need to clean the area often to ensure it keeps filling. The pitcher itself leaks every time we pour it, and plumbers tape has helped a bit on the seal.
