DO NOT BUY ANY SAMSUNG REFRIGERATORS with DOOR water/ice dispenser. If you do make sure to get 5yrs protection not just the 1yr SAMSUNG warrantee.
There is a class action law suit for faulty ice maker and not keeping temperature.
After 2yrs the ice maker started having issues (leaking and slushy for ice. Multiple geek squad visit and now fighting with Samsung to replace. Come to find out that there is a class action law suit against Samsung about the ice maker and temperature since 2017 about these issues.
BB stop your appliance sales rep from recommending Samsung fridges specially when your GS techs know about the law suit and are well aware of the issues. They
are the ones having to deal with upset customers and faulty equipment.

This refrigerator is worse than the builder grade fridge I got with my house. It does not keep food temps right. The ice maker is the main problem it leaks water constistanly. It is always stopping up in the ice drop. We had service tech say once it starts doing this only option is to replace the ice maker and it might start doi g it again. manufacture says know issue with no resolve. Junk dont buy

Love the refrig and the guys who delivered it were prompt and very careful getting it in place They even had to work around our moving guys who were off loading our furniture

We like the styling of the french doors and the flexzone drawer (wish it could add to freezer space, but misunderstood that at purchase).
Unfortunately, the ice maker freezes up (literally) about every month or two. I have to chip out ice and then thaw it with a hair dryer for 10-20 minutes to get the ice out. After that, it takes a day or three to start making ice again. Service tech said it was because we put magnets on it (like every refrigerator in America). I'm calling bull-shirt on that. Even if it is true its a lousy design flaw. We live in a mildly humid climate so I can't imaging how often it's be iced over in the South. We've had it for a couple years and will not buy another Samsung.

If you want an icemaker that works don't buy this one. When the icemaker wouldn't put out ice you can't get the icemaker out. They wanted me to defrost the icemaker. I asked about the food in my refrigerator and they wanted me to put it in a cooler. So you pay $2,000 for a refrigerator and you have to buy a cooler too. Every other month the thing stops putting out ice and you have to defrost to get the icemaker out. Then it has to completely defrost to get all the frozen ice that form around the icemaker. Their technician came out with his heat blower and it took 1 hr to get the ice off. 1 hr with the doors on the refrigerator open. I've dealt with this since 2019 and I'm done with it.

I would stay away from Samsung appliances. We spent a good fortune on this fridge, a microwave and dishwasher. We've had issues with all of them (except the dishwasher). This fridge had a major issue with the ice maker freezing. We literally had to pour hot water on in and get a hair dryer to melt the ice maker so it would work. This would happen over and over. After being persistant, Samsung finally admitted it was a default and sent a tech. out. They had to replace the entire computer board. It works ok now. the microwave I have, after 3 years of owning, the numbers on the front of the door all peeling off. Samgsung won't support this without charging you. Based on the cost to get this addressed, it will be better to purchase a new microwave. So, BUYER BEWARE on Samsung products. Or be sure to purchase the extended warrunty, which is limited as well.

Ice maker problems began after 3 years and stopped working completely exactly at 5 years. Would not recommend this version with ice maker and encourage those who are interested to look into Samsung refrigerator's ice maker problems before choosing this model.

Zero stars if I had the option! Freezer stopped working 6 months after purchase. It's been a NIGHTMARE dealing with Samsung Support. They've already sent 3 technicians and now the whole fridge is not working. All technicians recommended replacement of unit because it was already 'contaminated' and Samsung is not approving replacement....Techs haven't been able to fix it, either. They've replaced compressor, UVDryer and all rings and it's dead!... 30 + days without a working fridge and Samsung just going in circles trying to get a tech to put a band aid and move on.... well, not even the bandaid is working!,,,

Don't waste your money

It keeps food cold. Ice maker stopped working within a couple of months. Water in the door also stopped working. Had it almost four years. Looking at an LG or something else.

Samsung says this model was designed not to have a drip tray. This was a poor decision on their part as the water never stays where they intended and it end up on your floor after nearly every use. Unless you want to stand there for an an extra minute after getting water, buy another fridge.

Cannot Clean It

The only reason this has such good reviews is no one has tried to clean it yet. It is impossible the clean the glass on the first shelf. Even the technician struggled, and so far no one who has tried it can remove the shelf to clean it. I wish we had not bought this refrigerator.

First the Samsung Refrigerator, would not register on the Samsung site. Keeps wanting more Characters? Can't find what it wants?
The ice maker is junk and the fix as shown on the Samsung Website and everywhere else on the internet; is a temporary fix only. In the end you will be standing there with a blow dryer defrosting the ice maker each and every time it freezes up. Which is every time the humidity changes. Don't buy these refrigerator's with this ice maker. This thing cost over 2000 usd . Two Thousand dollars for a very cool looking refrigerator with an ice maker that is junk.

Immediately after install the water and ice dispenser didn’t work. Ended up with a puddle of water on the floor and water pooling in the crisper and freezer area. 24 hours later and the temperature sensor for the fridge doesn’t work. Using a separate device I can tell it’s keeping it cool, but the sensor keeps reading 58F and the light flashes every time I open the fridge for the high heat warning. I’ll be replacing this unit and update reviews when the second one arrives.

I saw bad reviews for the ice maker and have now found out they were correct. In addition, you cannot clean the shelves. Even the Youtube videos state this if very hard to fix ice maker and/or shelves are hard to work with. A lot of money for cheap product.
