    The ice maker is in a constant state of being frosted over and will not make ice. It cannot defrost itself. The first summer we had it this happened. They sent a repair man who basically manually defrosted it. Even he said it probably would keep frosting up. By the next summer it was out of warranty. It’s a bad design. I really regret buying this. Also, even when freshly defrosted, the whole cubes are partially crushed and the crushed ice is partially whole.

    Wish i could rate a negative star. This is a piece of junk had less than 2 years the ice maker leaks down the front, freezes up on the inside dispenses water and makes slushy ice when it even makes ice. The unit beeps like the door is open but it is actually a low temp warning (company’s temporary solution is to turn temps to -8 in freezer and 34 in fridge which will over work the compressor). It sizzles like water is hitting the motor, the pull out draw temperature stopped working and can't be adjusted. the customer service does not honor their agreement to replace the unit. There is a class action law suit on this model and at least 20 other models made by Samsung. DON'T BUY ANY SAMSUNG PRODUCT!!!!!! STAY AWAY FROM THEM!!!!!! WON'T EVER BUY AGAIN FROM THEM!!!! JUNK JUNK JUNK

    It's a really nice refrigerator with one serious flaw, The Ice Maker. We have had ours since 2019 and the ice maker has been replaced 3 times. The ice maker is prone to build up frost and make the icemaker stop functioning. As I am typing I am on hold writing to schedule yet another service call for the ice maker. Now the ice is melting in the drawer and water is running onto the floor. From what I have read, the icemaker can be an issue with almost all brands with the French door. Big time byer remorse on this one and for something so expensive.

    Went out after 1.5 years

    The refrigerator quit cooling when it was just over a year old. It costed $500 to fix it and parts were not honored under warranty. Things used to last but everything seems to be glorified junk these days. Don't waste your money with LG. The dishwasher I bought sucks too.

    Had to poke a Samsung appliance review in somewhere. Samsung uses Tekniton exclusively for service of their products. Do yourself a HUGE favor and look at their reviews before purchasing a Samsung appliance.

    Refrigerator not really happy with product refrigerator works ok except ice maker keeps freezing up gek sqaud was here twice for repair repair still same issue i think its mfg issue hopefully best buy does the right thing !

    This has to be the worst fridge I have ever owned, cleaning it is an absolute nightmare. I consider myself to be very handy when it comes to assembling household fixtures but this this thing is unreasonably hard to disassemble. the bottom shelf has the worst design that allows any food to get into crevices that truly require q-tips to clean out, the shelves are not adjustable at all and are the shelf spacing does not fit gallons of milk, juice, 2L sodas etc. efficiently. My old GE side by side door simple fridge was a breeze to clean and shelf adjust. you will spend and unreasonable amount of hours at a time cleaning this fridge, an absolute waste of your time.

    Do not buy any Samsung refrigerator they only last 6 years total rip-off worst refrigerator we ever owned.. Samsung Service and warranty is horrible! They make good cell phones but they suck at refrigerators!
