Samsung is very close to LG with quality and useful features in refrigerator tech. It's quite a bit bigger than our 22 cu.ft LG of similar orientation. The compartmentalization of the "cheese drawer" is a very useful feature to have with respect to efficiency. The only down side is the limited shelf adjustment in the main area and on the door. Makes it difficult to place taller containers on the top shelf or middle shelf. Since this came with the in-door ice receptacle, it renders that door useless except for small items, though, I should say, at least offers room compared to other units. Overall a good unit that's quiet, and attractive.

We purchased a new home in Knoxville, and the Samsung 28.2 Cubic Ft. Refrigerator was our first purchase for the home. We love the 4 door design, and having the freezer on the bottom is a wonderful feature. We were also very please with the service from our sales rep at Best Buy and he honored a special sales price for us that had expired 2 days before. The Best Buy delivery Techs were professional and did a great install job. Now I'm ready for my new Samsung 60" Flat Screen HDTV ! Thank You Best Buy !

I went from a smaller 2-door (upper/lower) refrigerator without in-door water/ice to this 4-door model. The middle drawer is cleverly designed and I used it at Thanksgiving to store my pies. The freezer is big and again well-designed with a sliding tray and deep compartments. I haven't quite figured out the best configuration for the upper compartments and doors, but there's tons of room. I haven't experienced any problems with excessive noise or with the unit not keeping my food cold. It is important to make sure that it is well-ventilated, both on the sides and the back. So far so good. You also have to remember to close the doors firmly. Delivery service was wonderful... if only they could have rigged the front to dispense margaritas. I am very happy with this purchase.

Great looking refrigerator inside and out. Roomy freezer and versatile shelving in the fridge. Middle compartment is awesome. The one thing I would like to see improved is the crushed ice maker. It seems very slow at producing crushed ice.

I have only had my new refrigerator a week, but love it. I like the middle drawer that can be accessed without opening main doors. It nice and quiet also, even when ice is being made.

We needed a new refrigerator and this was the one we kept coming back to when we were comparing the different brands and features. The size was perfect for our needs and we really wanted one with ice and water to the door. There is plenty of room in both the top of the refrigerator and the bottom freezer. The four-door feature is also something we wanted to keep sodas and drinks in. Now we do not have to open the main door when getting something to drink. We were so glad Sansung had this model in white as all of our other appliances are white as well. I know most people want stainless steel but that is harder to keep the fingerprints off of and we really just like the white appliances. So far we are very pleased with the purchase of this refrigerator.

We love it. It's sharp, the LED lights make it easy to see everything, there is lots of storage room, the shelves are easy t o adjust, the 4th pull out door is perfect to keep beverages or snack trays. We finally have enough room to store all our food.

We had a GE Profile side-by-side and we absolutely love the freezer being on the bottom with this Samsung! The user friendliness of this Samsung is incredible! It has plenty of space and flexible shelving which makes it easy to customize for your needs. I really like the middle drawer - we put the kid's snacks and fruit in there and it is very easy for them to access. I love the lighting - there are bright LEDs inside that light it very well and make it easy to see. The only minor downside is there is no butter compartment - but it is not a big deal at all. Samsung refrigerators are very highly rated and supposedly not very repair prone; that is a big reason we bought this. We've had it for a month and love it!

Great looking, efficient, quiet most of the time! Lots of banging, cracking noises at times. So loud they are very annoying!

Love the look of this refrigerator. We had it delivered 3 different times and each time there were dents on the front doors. Not enough shipping material to protect it in the box. Love access to the middle drawer. Im not sure Ive found the best place to store milk/juice cartons of 2 liter bottles. I really like the drawer freezer coming from a side by side. not impressed with the ice maker it is VERY SLOW to fill up a glass.

Got a great deal on an open box unit and I added the Geek Squad plan to it. My wife really wanted the French doors and my kids wanted the snack drawer (and I didn't want to drop $3K on a fridge). Problem solved with this fridge! It is way bigger than my old side-by-side, cools great, bright LED interior lights, multi-temp snack drawer. It really is the focal point of the kitchen! The ice maker could be better (higher capacity), but it is adequate for normal use. Sometimes it makes some really weird noises, but generally it's pretty quiet. All-in-all it was a good purchase.

Spacious! Great use of space. Freezer pull out drawer nice touch with tons of space in the deep drawer. Love the extra fridge snack drawer. Kids are in and out of that drawer all day. Lighting in fridge is like no other. Amazing!

A great replacement for the Maytag that we previously had. Looking for a great reliable unit, this is it. Dual cooling so the fridge portion no longer receives the cool air from the freezer. This was our problem with the Maytag, when the heater would break the fridge would not cool because air could not flow over the coils because they froze solid. The fridge drawer on this unit is great for quick items or kids snacks as they can reach it easily. This is a great unit and Samsung as high ratings. In the market you should put this model on your comparison list.

Great Space in this French door model with the extra drawer with separate temp control. We use it for fresh vegs and berries. Large freezing capacity. Our unit was delivered with a broken water line. Repairs were made efficiently however now the ice maker is not working. Will have to call for warranty service again. Still happy with unit. A large improvement over our old side by side.

I have had this refrigerator for approximately 1 month and am thrilled with it. We got it as an open box, slightly dented item, so it was a bit of a steal. I would actually pay full price for it, if I had to do it again. It is worth the price. The middle drawer is great for my kids.

Took everything from our old fridge into this and had much room left over. Middle draw for beverages save space up top. Like the lights. Had to get used to waster dispenser as it shoots to the back a little bit. Have to hold cup higher for ice to prevent from going on the floor. Freezer is spacious with and extra slide our drawer. We kept the old fridge in case we needed more space. It has remained empty. Easy to clean, looks great. We were on the fence in buying this fridge for 2 years based on some negative reviews. There was some knocking initially (not sure what it was), but far less now after a month. Makes enough ice for 3 people, water comes out cold no problems so far. Glad we got it because was just kept coming back to this over all other brands.

I purchased this refrigerator on 1/25/17. It was delivered about a week later. Right away it would randomly beep. About every hour, give or take. The control panel would light, and the ice selection would change. Otherwise it was working perfectly. I Contacted Samsung. They asked that I try a bunch of different things. Nothing stopped the beep. They arranged for a repair tech to come out. No one showed up. They tried arrange for another, but could not find one. So they were going to look into a refund or exchange. While waiting to hear back, I decided to contact Best Buy's Geek Squad. I had purchased the Geek Squad service plan. They made arrangement to have new control panels shipped and scheduled a visit. The Geek Squad came and replace the main control panel on the fridge and the ice/water control panel on the door. Unfortunately the beeping continued. So they arranged to replace the door, figuring it was a possible short in a wiring harness, either in the door or the cabinet. The Geek Squad was back today (4/12/17). He replaced the door, and the beeping has stopped. I am completely impressed with the features of this refrigerator. I did a lot of comparing before deciding on this model. It has a super large capacity, packed full of features. And I love the Flex Drawer. I don't fault Samsung for a glitchy appliance getting past quality control... it happens. Samsung was quick to respond to me. But they have no one in my area to service what they sell. They did not give me any difficulty in offering a refund or exchange. Reviews on Samsung refrigerators are good. But because of some complaints about ice maker problems on previous models, I decided to get the extra Geek Squad Service Plan for piece of mind. All of my appliance are Samsung. No problems with any other item. I highly recommend getting the extra protection. Not because of bad customer service on Samsungs part - they were willing to make things right with a refund or exchange, but because when Samsung couldn't get the problem fixed, the Geek Squad did. And I also want to give 5 Stars to the Geek Squad tech to came to my house each time - Great Job on his part.

I bought this fridge as an open item. After installation by the bestbuy GeekSquad the 2 french doors were not lined up (no big deal). Fridge gets noisy from time to time mostly at night when there is nobody downstairs. It is a pretty big fridge for a family of 3. We all love the water dispenser and ice cube maker. The mid section can hold more than enough (drinks, vegetables, etc...) and opens independently. The digital screen is great because it gives various information about temperatures all around the different section of the fridge. I had it for a month now and I think it is a good product that I will recommend to friends and families without hesitation.

Love the compartments. Like the finish. Worried that over time it will get rust spots. It also has a fairly loud motor when running. It is in a room that is joined with my living room. So I wish it was not as loud as it is. Hate paying for the filter, like clock work at one year the filter needed to be changed. Only my kids drink water from it. It is amazing how little space new fridges have. If it were not for the looks I would just go back to a normal fridge. But since it is joined to my living room it has to look good.
