The ice maker freezes up every 2 weeks. Don't buy a Samsung fridge

Flexzone works but ability to choose between various settings no longer works and was told needs new circuit board which is half the cost of refrigerator purchased new. End caps for FlexZone and freezer also broke, had fixed within warranty, and they broke again. I like Samsung TVs but not happy with Samsung appliances...have microwave, washer, dryer, and fridge and all have had issues within a few years of purchasing.

I do not recommend open box items..first item I bought was sold to another customer before delivery 2nd fridge delivered was leaking immediately after install and on top of this it was not repaired with the first service tech...had to remove all items for second repair attempt..big box store should test items before "reselling" especially when its listed as having no issues. I will take my buisness elsewhere. Repair was set up after 14 day return window.

Fingerprint resistant... Yeah right! Constantly cleaning fingerprints it, noisy motor and ice maker, over all disappointed with product purchase...

Still isn't working right. Geek squad is coming tomorrow to see if they can fix the lights inside and water dispenser.

We've had to fix this refrigerator more times than I can count... and it all started within just three years of owning it. Thankfully my brother lives around the corner because we've used his refrigerator and freezer many time to save our food.

I will never buy a Samsung fridge again. I had such a bad experience with Samsung customer service. We had 4 different thing go wrong with the fridge in the first 3 months we had it. We lost all are food twice cause of the temperature gauge was broken

We have had the Samsung-28.15 cu ft 4-door French door refrigerator since 3/12/19. We really like the refrigerator for the storage as well as the bottom freezer. The one problem has been the in the door ice maker. The icemaker freezes frequently and needs to be de-iced. Samsung has paid each time the ice-maker broke down.

Freezer was unable to be repaired after 7 attempts

I was told it would not show fingerprints. This thing looks filthy all the time. Our muscles leaked on the bottom shelf, seeping under the glass. I had no way of getting the glass shelf out. I eventually had to break two tabs at the back of the shelf to remove the glass. This was a $1,900 mistake.

Purchased this refrigerator from Best Buy last June. Worked fine till a few weeks ago. Started noticing ice forming in freezer department on sides. Called Samsung, sent out a tech. He found a dent under the freezer door causing the problem. He called Samsung service dept. they were rude to him yelling they were not doing anything about it. They say it was damaged in shipping. The dent was in a spot where you would not see it unless you got flat on the floor with a flashlight or the door was taken off. I made numerous calls to Samsung repeating the story number of times. Though they cared ended up with three transaction numbers. Said it would go through the review committee. Got a call and was told they were doing nothing. Was stuck with a damaged refrigerator. Called Best Buy, sent out tech. he confirmed it could not be fixed. Was offed a new refrigerator, which we came in and picked out. Needless to say it was not a Samsung. Will never buy a Samsung product after what we went through with the customer service department. Have heard other complaints about them. We will however continue to shop Best Buy.

This refrigerator has been a complete hassle every month we have to move all our groceries to our yard sale $100 refrigerator in the garage to defrost it.

I've had my new Samsung 28.2 Cu. Ft. refrigerator for one month. Due to the lack of time I've had the refrigerator, I'm only going to give a 4 star rating because I cannot yet comment on service history or longevity of the product. First of all, I am in love. The size is exceptional and the brightness of the interior lights is wonderful. I can see everything. This is my first french door style and I wish I had considered this style of refrigerator before now. It's wonderful to have my most used items at eye and waist level. The flex drawer is great for storing cold drinks and lunch meat and cheeses. The freezer drawer is spacious. I was initially worried that it would become an unorganized mess, but I've been able to organize and divide with some inexpensive plastic bins, so I'm very pleased! The only thing that is not so great is the ice maker. It doesn't make ice super quick and the cubes are smallish and sometimes look like they have melted a little bit. Although this is not a big deal for me, I could see how others might be unhappy. My previous Samsung side-by-side made great ice and lots of it. The water coming from the door was also very cold. This is not true for my new Samsung. Yes, the water is cool/cold, but not super cold. I think the reason behind this is that the ice maker and water are sitting in and running through the refrigerator which is set at 36 degrees----- unlike my previous side-by-side where the ice maker and water were running through the freezer which was set at -4 degrees. Since I have no previous experience with French Door refrigerators, I can't say that poor through-the-door ice is somewhat inherent to this style of refrigerator, but given the warmer environment where the ice maker is placed, it seems to me that is what causes the issue. If having a great ice maker is important, maybe a side-by-side refrigerator would be a better choice.

Get someone out here. The day it was installed it's leaking at the water dispenser. I didnt expect greatness. The entire process has been horrid.

Thefridge is a lemon and lots of negative commetns on message boards as well as a class action suit against Samsung on this model. Will never buy a Sumsung fridge again going back to whirlpool

Samsung is the worst company for appliances. This refrigerator ice maker leaks, freezes up, won't make ice. It's bad Do not buy.

This fringe has a faulty ice maker that keeps braking over and over. Also the handles and the shelves are made with cheap plastic that brakes easily. Stay away from Samsung fridges.

We love this fridge. The amount and flexibility of storage is really great and everything is cooled evenly. Our old fridge technically had the same capacity as this one, and yet we went from a packed fridge to one that looks pretty empty most of the time and everything is easy to find. The one thing that is funny and has tripped us up a couple of times is that the water dispenser on the left door stops running with somebody opens the right door. :-)

Every 1-3 months we have to steam the icemaker to get it working again. Rest of the fridge works fine.

I love my new refrigerator. Unfortunately we were delivered a refrigerator that did not work but with a simple phone call I was able to schedule to have a new one delivered within two days. Now that I've used it for a couple of months I can truly say that it is the best refrigerator I've ever had. It is spacious and I love the extra drawer. The water comes out of the dispenser very quickly, so much so it splashes a bit. Which is the one downfall. The silver color shows all the finger prints and water marks. I didn't expect that. Also it is not magnetic which is not really bad. Gave me a reason to not put anything on it. But the room in the fridge and freezer is great to have. Buy without reservation.
