We bough this refrigerator about 4 years ago. It worked well the first year and the 2nd year onwards we started having problems. Water started leaking from bottom and water gets collected on the drawer base and the vegetable drawer also. The drain plug design is so bad that the its bound to get clogged. The drawer designs are complex and poor that food particles get lodged into the crevices between the various plastic parts and it is very hard to clean and if you try to remove them the plastic parts start to crack. Did not expect this from Samsung products. Poorly designed for cleaning and defrost system is pathetic. Even my grandmother fridge did not have this water leaking problem.

Very noisy. Only 4 years old and needs parts already :( The fan makes loud noises from the day I got it. Ive had service out and they didn't do anything to fix it. Its just the refrigerator. Unhappy customer

The ice machine freezes up so bad that I need to de-ice it monthly and now the water not longer dispenses from the door.

I am so disappointed in this fridge. We purchased it in 2014 and luckily bought the 5 year protection plan. Starting in 2017 we have had 2 serious issues every year. The fan, compressor and coils have all been replaced. I renewed the protection plan another 3 years and as I write this have just opened up my second claim for 2019. The fan is making terrible noises and probably frozen again. The ice maker freezes every 2 weeks and we have to manually thaw. We replace the filter every 6 months and have done everything the repairmen advise. It's still not working properly. I will buy an LG or GE profile when the protection plan expires.

I love this refrigerator which is why it saddens me to give it a one star. After 1 year of owning it, the icemaker kept freezing up. Geek Squad came out and replaced it for a price tag of $500+. Just over a year after that, it started freezing up again. I've been able to "unthaw" it with a blow dryer but suddenly it no longer works at all. How disappointing. Plus Samsung knew of the issues but refuses to take responsibility.

We purchased this refrigerator 3 years ago based on large ice maker capacity. Makes very little ice and now ice maker has completely stopped working. My last Samsung purchase.

Ice maker broke. Poor design. Do not buy. Class account lawsuit.

I bought my Samsung refrigerator in 2014. Now, 2 years later it has stopped cooling. I bought the extended warranty, but when I called Geek Squad, was told it would be 8 days before they could have someone out to diagnose the problem. It's Christmas and I have 35 people coming on Christmas day. If they come on Friday and it needs parts, I'll have to wait until after Christmas before its fixed. What good is a warranty if you can't get prompt service?

Do yourself a favor and stay away from Samsung refrigerators. I have had issues with the icemaker. The issues are known and are even now included in a service bulletin from Samsung. But, don't think that will get you any help from support. After paying over $400 to fix a two year old fridge, they want me to pay for another repair after five months!! Worthless support.

This refrigerator is the worst thing ever made if you sell it to have the filter easily removed from the front; just forget it. I was told you have to pull the whole thing out & turn off the water from behind to change the filter. What a misrepresentation to sell a product.

Looks good. but the compressor and fan hum is too loud. Try LG.

I purchased a Samsung refrigerator and after two years freezer stopped working and display went out. I would not purchase another Samsung product

Returned two; loud "popping" sounds and compressor.

Freezer stopped working after 13 months. Dont buy!
