I am loving this fridge. It is designed extremely well and looks great to boot. The fridge does seem to run a bit loud but compared to what I replaced it sounds like a pleasant dream so it is all about perspective. The stainless steel is a little hard to keep clean so marks show up pretty clear but I am willing to overlook that and the slight noise for the rest.

Nice fridge but can be noisy. The ice/water dispenser is the only negative but still not a deal breaker. Just annoying.

We’ve had this fridge 4 years. It has broken down 3x (currently does not work). The ice machine CONSTANTLY freezes up and stops working. (I bought a counter-top ice maker so we can have ice). We have had the certified repair man out 2x to fix it and he said all of these have the same issue. Despite the repairs the ice machine works for about 2 months then you have to defrost and/or chip the ice away. (We have two friends that have this model with the exact same problem). The other issue we have had 3x now is a rattle, coupled with a lack of cooling in the fridge, which we were told by the repair man is caused by ice building up by the motor and the fan is hitting it, causing the rattle and hindering performance. So here we are defrosting it AGAIN. We used to love Samsung and have all their appliances in our last 3 homes, but their quality has gone way down hill the last 10 years...avoid this fridge (and all Samsung) at all costs...

We did a lot of research and read a lot of reviews. It paid off because we found the best fridge for the money. It's huge inside and holds so many groceries. I love the LED lighting. It's very quiet. And the bottom freezer is so convenient.

We've had the refrigerator for a month and are totally happy with our purchase. The lighting in the refrigerator and freezer is great. Easy to find things. The pantry tray is a great feature. Great place for cheese, lunch meat and the other third of the drawer for cartons of yogurt. Even with the small shelves in the left door, there is plenty of room for condiments. Love the self that flips up! Great feature! The placement of the filter is handy. You don't have to empty out a shelf to get at the filter to replace it. I was a little apprehensive going from a side by side to the French door. I am pleasantly surprised. The freezer is easy to organize and access items.

I've had my fridge for abput a month now and really love it. There were a few reviews that talked about it being noisy, but I"m happy to say that I have not had that experience. I don't think it's noisy at all. One small disappointment is that I lose half a shelf in order to accommodate beverage bottles, but I'm happy say that there is the option to "fold" half the upper shelf up to accommodate them and still have a decent amount of room. I guess another nit is that the vegetable drawers are a little small, but this was the case with most refrigerators and this model was better than most of the other ones I looked at. I'm also glad I did not buy the model with the extra drawer. The pantry drawer in this model has plenty of room and I meets my needs just fine. Happy hunting. I hope this helps :-)

I love the clean look of the refrigerator, large bottom freezer, makes lots of ice, the only thing I am not certain if it is right that it makes a lot of noise when the compressor is on

Works very well ice maker is noisy when making ice. The The fan motor is louder than our old fridge. Ice maker does not make ice as fast as our old fridge.

Love the fridge but Samsung really needs to get the ice maker to produce faster and spit it out. Annoying to wait so long to get even half a glass of ice

We wanted more freezer space and we are happy with that. The ice maker side door is not space efficient. The trays are so narrow you can only get soda size cans or small jams there. I find I can not get as many condiments in the refrigerator as with my previous Maytag. There is much less door space. I do like the shelves that slide back or lift up. It makes the arrangement of items much more flexible.

Purchased as scratch and dent return and I'm happy. Sales staff was good Delivery staff was good but as with all deliveries was late ;) Went from a 25 year old Kenmore to this. We like it. Overall a great fridge but the compressor is a little louder than my 15 year old fridge was. It isn't too horrible once you get used to it but it rattles more than I expected it to. Other than that this fridge is great.I really like the tall water dispenser cubby so you can fill water bottles. Also,the ice maker churns out ice at a fast rate and doesn't take up too much iternal space like other models we looked at.

This fridge is a great fridge! It has lots of room, makes ice quickly and is not noisy. I've seen reviews that it is noisy, yes it makes some noise but it is not loud at all. Its a fridge.

I love my new fridge! The french doors allow for so much extra space! I also really like the shelves that are adaptable to fit taller items. It is so easy and smooth. The drawers pull out easily and are not loud. The fridge has become the centerpiece of our kitchen. The installers were also very friendly and were quick to complete the install. They cleaned up any water that had spilled as a result of hooking up the water dispenser. They gave us a quick run-down of the fridge and were so great. They arrived on time, and called before they arrived. Great experience and customer service.

Great looking fridge, bright lighting (though bluish tint), tons of space. It seems to run a bit more than I expected, so we'll have to see what the electric bill looks like. It's pretty quiet. We are getting some frost in the freezer, and have had a few things freeze solid in the back of the refrigerator, so we're still tinkering with the settings (that's why the jury is still out.

I am very happy with my purchase. The only draw back with this model is the ice maker should be easier to remove.

Had this for about a month now and to date I really like it. There is tons of room in this unit, and the dual adjustable fruit/veggie drawers are nice. The only thing that prevented me from giving this 5 stars is that when you select the crushed ice, the ice doesn't fall straight down into your cup. It flies all over the place and you wind up with ice on the floor.

this is our second Samsung refrigerator, first one has been with us for way over 10 years. and even through this is our secondary refrige in house that we put in the laundry room, we are preferring to put most everything, especially, veg, fruit, ... in this one

Replacing our side by side with this model gave us much better and efficient storage on the top. Great easy reach in the freezer as well. Lighting is bright.
