The ice maker has been repaired about every 4 - 5 months since I bought it 4 years ago. My geek squad extended warranty has covered the repairs (they are awesome) but is about to expire. Now what! Samsung is a pain to work with. Whatever you do DON’T buy a Samsung refrigerator they are horrible! Look up Samsung lawsuit to see the over 30 models that are included in the class action lawsuit.....

biggest pile of design flaws ever in a refrig

Every month you need to go in their with a hair dryer and melt everything. Now the cooling lines in the refrig part are freezing up as well. That involves removing everything in the refrig and then unscrewing the inside back panel off and taking a hair dryer and melting all the ice buildup. YouTube has tons of videos from folks showing all of this.
