    Item would be great if they all didn't come with some kind of dent on the ice maker side. This is a joke. Do not buy this specific fridge. The sales guys are great but this product is not. Not sure if Samsung has poor packing or the shipping company is not handling properly. But really? 3 fridges and all dented? All in different areas around the ice maker. Disappointed.

    Ice melts then leaks into door. When you get ice it leaks on to floor. Doors don't close easily.

    Do your research! There are major design defects with Samsung fridges. My fridge was purchased in 2016 and the ice maker is broken. I'm now dealing with the NJ BBB on attempting to get a refund after being told by Samsung they don't service my area. Please learn from my mistake.

    Sorry I love Samsung but refrigerator by far is worse I have ever purchased! Ice maker gives cloudy ice cubes and even though it is not on crushed still don’t get whole ice cubes! Have already had Samsung service here and they said that they know that is a problem!

    Steer clear of Samsung refrigerators. They all continually have the same evaporator coil problem. Causing the ice build up in the back of the fridge. Samsung refuses to acknowledge this issue and it's a shame that Best Buy continues to sell their products. DO NOT BUY.

    Within 12 months our icemaker started freezing up regularity, and later we found out that the unit does not cool too the same temperature internally. Massive class building for a lawsuit. Dont get stuck with our problems, buy something else

    After a few months of owning the fridge the icemaker began to freeze up. After several calls to Samsung still no fix. Water is now leaking all over my hardwoods and has ruined my flooring! I should have hauled this out to the trashman after a year! DO NOT BUY!

    This fridge has gone out twice right after it was a year old. I have been told there are 2 technical bulletins regarding each of my problems. but Samsung official repair never mentioned it to me. Last Samsung product I will ever buy.

    Samsung has the worst service ever

    The day the refrigerator was installed it started making a noise within a few hours. The flap for the ice maker would open and shut for minutes before stopping. It stopped doing it that day so I did nothing about it. About 10 months later it started again sometimes for hours. I call Samsung to have it repaired and they sent someone to fix it. They replaced the touch screen on the door and the flap mechanism. It solved the noise problem, but they said they found another problem (the main PCB?) and said they would have to come back to fix it. They left a message one day saying they were coming out to fix it, but apparently they don't think we work so they just showed up without confirming the appointment. They were mad at us for not being there and showed up again the next day, again without confirming the appointment, but luckily my wife was home. They replaced the part and said to call them to confirm there was ice in the icemaker. There was so we called them, but then we realized the ice dispenser no longer worked. We called them back and they said the ticket was closed and we had to start the process all over again. I called Samsung and they asked my appointment preference date and said they would call to confirm. They confirmed the date and time, so I took off work for the third appointment and they never showed up and said they had no record of the appointment. I called Samsung and they blamed the repair place and said they couldn't help me on that day, but would call me next week to set up yet another appointment. I asked to speak to a supervisor and they said they were busy and would call back within 24 to 48 hours. This is unacceptable! My wife or I will have to take a fourth day off work and hope they fix it this time. Of course the 1 year warranty is about to expire and they gave me a hard time about that, saying I had to show proof (again) of the purchase date and that the problem is related to the initial service call. At least my kids are happy; because of this experience we are trading in our Samsung phones for Apple and getting an iPad to replace our Samsung tablet. BTW, we paid about $1,900 around Memorial Day ("the lowest price of the season") and it went on sale for $1,800 a week or two later. Best Buy credited me the difference when I went to the store.

    Do not buy this fridge! I have had it for exactly 1 year and 1 week and it no longer cools, won't go below 51 degrees. I can not get any support from Best Buy or Samsung. EXTREMELY UPSET!

    Would definitely recommend this fridge. Lots of space. Love the lighting. Very quiet. Love the French door style. Ordering from best buy was easy and delivery was on time and very professional.

    First one was DOA. The replacement is fine except the ice maker continuously freezes up and stops working. Have to defrost it every week now.

    Fridge Issues

    This was my first french door fridge. I am coming from a side by side and simply need more refrigerator space and that is wider. I also love Samsung TV products so thought with 25% off on this fridge it was a steal. It wasn't. Here are a list of issues: 1. The doors wouldn't soft close automatically. My other much cheaper starter fridge did this well. I kept having the alarm go off telling me the door was open. All I expected was with a slight toss of the door, for it to close. 2. The water came out at a funny angle. Pitched forward and to the left. When filling some stuff the water would come out of the glass. 3. A loud low pitched humm that would overtake my TV noise in the next room started happening more and more. 4. The left door has the ice output slide. There are these very shallow shelves. I found them to be worthless. 5. The ice was very small and to get it it took 3 seconds to start. It also didn't work sometimes. I would have to push a couple times. It's a shame this unit was such a bad experience for me. I still love Samsung but I think I'll stick with their TVs, I even own a stove of theirs as well and it's great, not so much their refrigerators. Bought an LG LFX29945ST. Pretty much the same with some different features. I tested all the problems I had above and none exist, it has more ice, has the door in door feature which is great, unobstructed fridge space, no ice maker in the way. I'm a dude and I never thought I'd care about what a fridge does but when you go from a standard to one of these french door deals it will change your life.

    Nothing but trouble with this pice of crap!! SEVEN service call in 2. years. Finally got it replaced with an LG 2 weeks ago. Fingers crossed.
