Changed to a different fridge due to availability and several rescheduling problems before canceling and choosing one that was available

Loud, Flimsy, cannot disassemble lower glass shelving to clean spills. Absolute disposable crap. DO NOT BUY THIS FRIDGE

The day it was delivered it never worked. Had the Geek Squad our and it was in repairable.

i am very very disappointed in my product i choose, i have had issue after issue. I really hope all issue get resolved soonnnnnnnnnnn

Doors uneven. Plastic shelve cracked in side within 6 months.Is not even a year old.

The refrigerator was looked great but it was too big to fit the door way, so I had to return it.

We bought it and when we plug it in didn't work we had to return it.

I returned this refrigerator for the following reasons and then bought another Samsung model that I love. LOUD: So loud I went to a friend's to listen to her Samsung (different model) which was guiet. Repair person came and said it was normal. It wasn't. We could hear it over the TV. It was very distracting and bothersome. FREEZER DRAWER: Repair person advised me to watch the freezer drawer on this model because it is sensitive to how you close it. You must pull from the center of the handle or it gets off track. I never noticed it was off track but he pointed out that there was frost on my foods which meant the seal was not tight. The drawer was also not opening all the way. You have to pull the drawer out from the center, then tug and it will readjust. I had to do this almost every time. DELI DRAWER: My family found it cumbersome to open both doors to get to the deli drawer. We ended up putting deli meats and cheeses in the main part and not using the deli drawer. ICE MAKER: Started out fine. Didn't mind smaller cubes but eventually it splintered the cubes which went all over the floor despite how close I put the glass to the dispenser. INSTALLED WRONG: The installers installed it wrong and the water line leaked into the wall for the three weeks we had the refrigerator. Fortunately it leaked into the garage and not into my kitchen. Best Buy is taking care of it without any problem. Good thing I returned it. I wouldn't have know for a while. THE GOOD: It kept fruit fresh much longer. It was easy to see everything and organize. DESPITE THIS, I then purchased another SAMSUNG from Lowes (RF28HMEDBSR) because I have had luck with other Samsung products. This new one has the extra deli drawer which I didn't want at first, but after the first fridge experience, our family LOVES it beyond compare. It is very quiet too. I am in love with it. Unfortunately the new one came dented. Waiting on a replacement. RETURN POLICIES: Home Depot only offered 72 hour return policy which would have been a real problem considering the issues we had. Best Buy was difficult to get a hold of anyone, and they only offer 15 day return policy unless you are an elite member (then it is 30 days). I couldn't get a delivery date with Best Buy for two weeks. Lowes offered fast delivery and 30 day return policy. Sears warranties were too expensive. New refrigerators in general are louder because they are energy efficient and cycle less freon through more frequently. This model Samsung was much too loud. I would return it for that reason alone. It was a leap of faith to purchase another Samsung, but I absolutely love the new one.

Dont buy Samsung refrig horrible. ICE maker is trash .

At first it would not stay at the set temp. It was always 6 degrees higher. I had to use the power cool mode until it got to 23 degrees. Since then it has stayed right where we want it. Very large capacity as it is 5 cubic feet larger than our last. The pull out drawer freezer is awesome. I could understand someone saying it is louder than they would expect. If it is night and no loud screaming kids with nothing else in the house on I can hear the compressor/fan/mechanicallstuff running, but not so bad that I would give it less stars. The 4 of 5 is because of the two weeks of it not keeping the correct temp.

I also did lots of research for my choice of refrigerator, and targeted a Samsung because of the quality of the HDTVs and washer/dryer I've bought from this company. We bought this new fridge model and installed it in our new house 6/19/15. After over six weeks of experience, my wife and I our very happy with this refrigerator. It is quiet. Roomy. Good ice capacity. Good lighting-LED. The 28cuft capacity counters most of the space lost in the refrigerator section due to the ice maker and water dispenser. One of the reviews I read complained of noise from the ice maker. Sure it makes noise when it drops the fresh made ice, and at first it is working hard to fill-up the ice dispenser, but that will be much reduced after a day of ice making. This fridge is super quiet otherwise. The Stainless Steel finish isn't smudge proof like the Frigidaire models, but better than most and easier to keep clean than I expected. The drawers are well laid out, and hold large quantities of meats, fruits, and veggies. My wife loves the French door models so she can place large platters in the shelving when hosting dinners or parties. You won't be disappointed if you buy this model!

I read the reviews on this refrigerator and thought it sounded like a good one... I had wanted a French-style one for a long time and spent a significant amount of time researching my options. I purchased it in November of 2012. The FIRST disappointing feature is the ice maker. There is no bucket or bin to collect the ice - all you get is what can fit in the distribution channel. Fill a small ice bucket? You are out of ice. Other reviewers did mention the fact that when the ice falls into the channel it makes a loud noise, and that is because it is never falling on other ice cubes - it always hits the hard plastic 'screw' that is used to move the ice through the dispenser. At least once a month, the 'mouth' of the dispenser gets clogged with ice cubes / bits and has to be cleared with the door open. (make sure you have someone else there to catch the ice bits as it clears!) And don't make the mistake of using the 'crushed' ice option - you will never get all whole ice cubes again. The second disappointing feature? Poorly manufactured. Less than 3 years after purchasing this fridge, I am having to spend $500 to have the entire filter mechanism replaced. AND I had to call around to find a repair shop that will even work on Samsung's, because my regular appliance repairman doesn't work on Samsung because "the parts are hard to get." If I were made of money I'd give this sucker away and replace it, but alas I am stuck with it now. I would DEFINITELY NOT recommend this fridge or any other Samsung appliance to my friends.

Contact every single upper management but no respond . Bad business

This samsung fridge has been working well for me so far. It is large, spacious, has fold up and fold in shelving which is very useful to store taller items. The ice maker is completely enclosed and the ice does not have a stale taste with flavors from the rest of the food in the fridge. Water dispenser works well, but the water dispenses in a backward pointed stream, so takes some getting used to. Freezer works very well, there is a space to put an extra ice storage bin, but does not come with the bin. There are neat features on the fridge, and it can cool down very rapidly if needed. It is running quietly for me. I have not had issues with it at this point.

This appliance has been mostly trouble free for six years. The ice maker broke years after it was out of warranty and I contacted Samsung customer service to inquire about someone coming to fix it. The Fixed it FOR FREE... I was shocked. I had a similar issue with a KitchenAid dishwasher that was only a year that caught fire and kitchen aid did NOTHING to resolve the issue. I will buy more samsung appliances in the future.

So far we love the refrigerator, I do have 2 complaints the door storage space around the ice maker could be larger or atleast moved lower to actually use the space on the side of the door and the flip up door on the storage compartment seems to get stuck open often. We did have a pretty terrible experience with our delivery, the fridge came dented, they dented our floor bringing it up the steps. Overall I probably wouldn't make an appliance purchase from best buy again.

I bought this fridge along with 3 other Samsung appliances, and I'm blown away! The 28 cu ft is very well done, it feels like no matter how much I buy I can still see everything in my fridge without feeling cluttered. It's amazing what an extra 1 or 2 cubic feet can do! I get compliments on the finish every time someone comes over. It is real stainless though, meaning magnets won't stick to it and it does smudge, but it's easily cleaned with stainless cleaner. Ironically everyone in my family bought new fridges within a year of each other and the only one's who don't regret their decision are the one's who bought Samsung. The exceptional quality is obvious, and it wasn't any more expensive then the others.

Bought this fridge in September 14, 2015 but didn’t have it delivered until December 21, 2015 due to kitchen remodeling. It was on sale during Labor Day and that was why we bought Samsung over other brands. Shame on me for not listening to advice from friends and family. Most had varies problems with Samsung fridges (different models). Mostly had compressor out with one year. This fridge started to make loud noise coming from compressor (continuous metal humming) last night at 1:08am, woke me up, and we are in a two stories. Had to sleep in study room which is furthest away from kitchen. Woke up 7:20am, the fridge loud noise still on. Called Samsung customer service, here go hoops to jump through. "Level the appliance, reset temp, buy and replace water filter..." Blah, blah, blah. This fridge was delivered and installed by Best Buy contracted delivery service and technician. If it was unleveled and improperly installed, it would have problem the next few days after installed and not two months later. Now front door dispenser is leaking water from ice melting in icemaker. In between calls, I asked across the street neighbor who is an independent appliance repair contractor, come over and immediately said its compressor problem. Also commented Samsung compressor is a well-known problem. Again, should have listened. After five calls today until 10:45am, finally a customer service “Erica” agreed to start ticket for repair technician. Earliest available day, Wednesday (It’s Sunday). Meanwhile we have plenty of half melted ice cream, worm yogurt, and worm milk to finish. This is a very expensive experience, I don’t know about other brands but I am counting 6 family member s and friends who had same compressor problem with their Samsung fridges within warranty period. All had difficult time getting problem resolved. My in law had 3 compressors replaced for the same fridge with 10 months period. I didn’t listen. Do yourself a favor, stay away from Samsung fridge. Samsung phones and TVs maybe, not fridge. Hope my expensive ongoing experience save you future trouble from owing a Samsung fridge.

Cannot beat this model for the price - sweet spot for value. Great size holds everything, i can think of, very nicely. Very quiet (except when the ice maker pops out the ice) with nice inside lighting. Bins and shelves are nicely designed with much flexibility. Bottom freezer is awesome holds a bunch and keep everything frozen. Superb build quality and reliability (from the reviews). You cannot go wrong with this unit.
