Hope it doesn't fail Appears quite large was surprised its smaller than the one we replaced. Easy to find your frozen items as nothing really gets buried. Hard to rate something you just bought. If the ice maker holds up I would give 5 stars won't know that for years

A couple of issues that I have are 1) ice takes too long to make and refill 2) it would be nice to have an additional drawer in the freezer. Our old Samsung had an additional drawer in the freezer and this one does not. Holds less with same cubic feet.

Yes, you read that right, RUST. The problem exponentially got worse, and now "rust bubbles" form every handful of days. Take a look at the attached photos. Also, the ice dispenser leaks water into the tray after every use.

Then the Samsungs went on sale four days later. I wanted to just get the 400 bones but they said no. However, they have a 15 day no questions asked return policy. So I decided to get the new model (with the smartphone app) and the front dispenser for essentially the same price. The crew came and picked up the "old" one the same time thy dropped off the new one. Both crews were great, worked fast, no nonsense, and good job.
