The issues with the ice box really do exist. They started happening to us day 1 after it was installed. Otherwise, another annoying thing is that the left door sometimes doesnt see the sealing panel withdraw when shut, so the doors slam together unpleasantly. We got this fridge discounted, 1850 from 2450, so it felt like a great deal, but the little things add up. Other than those two issues, we love the capacity. The drawers in the freezer never jam, organization is a breeze. Not sure about 'Fingerprint resistant,' as we've had so many that I give up on keeping up with appearances. Had it delivered and installed and the technician was wonderful

When my 20 year old fridge went belly up recently, I had to buy this as an emergency purchase! I chose it partly because of the fast delivery time (my freezer was melting), and because it was a good middle-of-the-road fridge that I could be happy with for a long time! I am certainly not disappointed! I've had it for nearly a month, and the refrigerator refrigerates, and the freezer freezes! The water and ice maker work wonderfully, and as a bonus, it connects with my phone and TV via the Smart Things app and lets me know when my tiny human has had her head in the fridge too long deciding on snacks, or has just forgotten to close the doors! Speaking of snacks! the long drawer inside the fridge is AMAZING for storing tiny human snacks! It's easy for them to reach, and can be separated into two different sections, which I divide into edibles and drinkables! Size-wise, I think I am biased. The old side-by-side fridge was 22cu.ft. and both sides were packed chock full! When I loaded it all into this fridge, it looked so empty! So, capacity is amazing! I think this is the largest fridge I have ever owned! The ice and water dispenser are basic, but certainly functional! I'm not terribly excited about how well it crushes ice (not very well. One would think ice crushing technology would have advanced over the years, but apparently not.), but I don't need snow, so it's not a big deal for me. There is also a control lock option for this, which is useful in preventing tiny wandering hands from taking a kitchen water or ice shower! As a side note, not nearly as useful, but the controls inside the fridge also have a lock feature (the standard "hold for 3 seconds"). The door bins are just right in my opinion. Even the little narrow bin area around the ice dispenser is the perfect size to store a few backup sticks of butter! All in all, I highly recommend this fridge! I had a different Samsung refrigerator in my last house (which I was sad to leave behind!), and both that one and this one have worked flawlessly!

I wish there was room for better door storage. On the water/ice maker side, the door storage is so small. Ridiculous. I really like the flip up option so larger items like wine bottles can be chilled. Refrigerator did not come with an ice storage container if you want to make extra ice rot when you are going to have company, we would like an ice container. Luckily we saved the one from our last refrigerator. I live in an extremely hot area so during the summer we use the ice maker many times during the day. I appreciate the tall access to the ice maker in the door. I fill a large water bottle when I go to exercise.

I really love the new Samsung Refrigerator. It has plenty of room for storage, I like the flexible shelving and it is easy to clean. Only draw back is loud icemaker, but am enjoying this upgrade.

Got it on sale for $1600. Very large and spacious inside and the freezer too. many useful features but the left door storage is a little hard to utilize because of the water/ice dispenser. Works great and very quiet.

This refrigerator is excellent. I've had it for 2 years and have no complaints. I love the space in the freezer and the adjustable shelves. Tuscan is such a beautiful color.

Awesome fridge. Lots of space and very quiet. Ice maker could be better but I’ve never thought any of the ice makers on my fridges were that great. Overall very nice fridge and pretty too!

So far, this refrigerator is amazing! I replaced a side by side with this and I do not have any regrets. The first few days after hooking it up, the water did drip out of the door as stated in other reviews but once the air was completely out of the line, it no longer drips. I have not had any problems moving the shelves around to what works for my family. The delivery men were awesome! They were so nice and explained everything I needed to know and they answered any question that I had. I did purchase the warranty just in case. we have 5 people who live in our house and the space of this fridge is perfect.

Great refrigerator. Enormous storage capacity. Easy to get in and out of. Considered this refrigerator vs the RF28R6301SR and couldn't justify several hundreds of dollars for in-door water jug and upgraded drawers. We love all the shelf options to flip and slide to accommodate the shapes of things as we use it. Drawer temp control is great as we use it for drinks or food. I think it's a design flaw for the water dispenser on the front door to not have a drip tray. Smart App was a bit kludgy getting connected and app functions are limited. Weird for a tech company!! Nice "you left the door open" alarm at refrig and remotely on phone App.

Consistent temperature throughout refrigerator and cool (not hot) interior lights. A few cons: a slight squeak has already developed (less than a month after purchase) on the right-hand door when opening and closing it, and we had to have the originally-delivered refrigerator swapped out for a new one because the freezer didn't get cold in the first one. But the customer service was excellent and we're really enjoying the large capacity and finger-print resistant doors (along with their magnetic capability, even on the front).

Working soooo well. After years of smaller fridges and always running out of room, we can't fill this up and it's so easy to use. I love the top fridge so I'm not crawling on the floor reaching back to find invisible ketchup bottles. The freezer is huge and we can finally shop at Costco and have room for things. Looks great and cleans easily too. The ONLY thing that isn't as great is the limited door storage but eh, not a big deal really. The only negative is I'm missing some bolts for the freezer door and samsung sucks at getting me new ones. Still waiting months later.

Best Buy came by and delivered the refrigerator in the morning. The employees were amazing and super helpful. They had to remove the screen door to fit the fridge through the door. They explained everything and made sure we understood when we could start using the fridge. The fridge looks amazing in the house. It adds a new look. The fridge is very roomy and everything fits nicely. It is very easy to organize and it's easy to use. The water and ice works very well. I recommend this Samsung refrigerator to anyone who loves the French door look.

Fridge is good size and is really quite. But in the freezer the ice doesn’t have a bucket you can pull out just have to get ice from door

We bought a Whirlpool side by side prior to this fridge and had nothing but issues it was so loud and the side of the fridge was not glued correctly thankfully Whirlpool offered to replace or refund but only after a protracted fight. We took the cash and bought this Samsung and could not be happier. It’s so quiet and spacious. This is the best fridge we have ever owned it’s great looking, has plenty of space and is quiet.

The Samsung 28 cubic foot refrigerator is an amazing device. It looks good, plenty of space, quiet and actually is fingerprint resistant. The cost was on par with other sellers and the delivery and installation was perfect. It is a big refrigerator but the delivery service was truly skilled at getting it in and set up. We love this refrigerator! Highly recommend!

Never thought I would purchase a Samsung refrigerator based on friends very disappointing ice maker problems...like not making ice! Add that to the many bad reviews and class action lawsuits and I was looking at other brands. However, there are several great refrigerator features we liked like sliding half shelves and flip up shelves for tall items, great freezer design. Now to ice maker...this is the new Ice Max which after the thousands of complains about past problems I felt they would have finally fixed all the past problems. My research said the old Samsung’s were to produce 1# of ice per day, the Whirlpool this replaces did 3# per day and this model can do 10# per day so I was excited. However, the capacity of the ice maker bin is so small after filling 6 glasses at same time it is out of capacity!! Really? What a disappointment after all their past problems and I am embarrassed for the low level engineers they must have put in place for this poor design. Our work around is that we bought a tray that fits in the freezer and then fill a pitcher with ice and dump in to tray to have enough ice for our guests. It seems Whirlpool has raised their prices during this Covid crisis to take advantage of some companies shortages or that would have been the brand we chose. Great design fridge and freezer with subpar ice maker to sum things up

First of the good stuff. -Appearance is great. -Shelf functions with the folding and sliding it’s useful in situations. -The size list is 28 cu ft. on paper is awesome. -freezer space is big. -App WiFi is a great option but I don’t use this. I don’t feel the need to check the status of my fridge on my phone. Maybe I’m not into fridge. No offense. Now the uglies. Things that bug me. -The ice maker takes a good amount of space in the fridge. -The dispenser door storage selves (3) 2 of them are practically almost useless due to the think odd shape. Other fridge have wine storage, this one has juice pack shelf. Practically the only thing that space could be use for. -wasted spaces, freezer door could use a bin and bottom of the doors in the fridge. - light for the freezer is under dispenser door. If you have this door open and open the bottom freezer your light is none existent. -only owned it for 5 weekends, already having an issue with the ice maker. I’m a bit disappointed with how they design of the inside. The size of the ice maker and the dispenser is way bigger than my previous refrigerator. I’m just hoping this fridge last as expected.
