This fride worked just shy of 4 yrs when the freezer compressor broke and deemed unrepairable! Then began my journey with Best Buy repair. To date, 6 weeks later I do not have a working fridge. I spent 3 summer Saturdays and multiple telephone calls with AIG (outsourced repair company) at the cost of 60 dollars, to resolve this issue. Best Buy did exchange this fridge, then gave the delivery service the wrong telephone number. Summer Saturday number 3 where I sat waiting for a fridge that never arrived. I am putting this out in the Best Buy ecosphere hoping that someone will do the right thing and help me make an even exchange: I would like to exchange the fridge sitting in storage (I finally decided my summer was more important than Best Buy's poor customer service), and exchange the Whirlpool fridge for a GE fridge (which costs 300 dollars less). I'll take the loss and hoping that Best Buy does the right thing. No customer should have to wait over a month to have a problem resolved. And let me add that AIG sent out a vender who was not certified fix a Samsung fridge, thus wasting time. Please just consider doing the right thing!!!!

Well, it has been 4 years of ownership. The bad first. Ice maker went out this summer. The change filter light does not go out after the filter has been changed. This is why I am giving a 3-star rating. Appliances should be flawless for at least 10-15 years. My Mother's Frigidaire did not have a problem well in 20 years of its 28-year life. I am calling for a repairman next week for the ice maker. The good. Everything else works without a problem.

The icemaker in the door is a terrible design. Routinely spits out chips that misses the glass.

I've had nothing but problems with the ice maker from day 1. The ice tray is extremely difficult to remove and I've had to replace it after breaking it trying to get it out. And removing it is going to be required, a lot. The reset switch for it is INSIDE the tray area. And you'll need to be resetting it a lot. Samsung will charge you $280 for an "OEM" replacement! They've already ripped you off bad enough with the price tag on this fridge so I recommend finding it on amazon. It was $80. It says it can produce crushed ice, only it can't. Not a big deal but when nothing else about the ice maker works I'm going to add that in for good measure.

Works well, but ice maker already broke & fridge is just over 2 years old….. expect an appliance to work well past 5 years before needing a repair. Used micro cloth on outside, but still scratched. Cheaply made and not quality you would expect.

I should have researched this refrigerator longer...there is a widespread issue with the ice machine that makes it pretty much useless. It continually freezes up and if we are able to get ice it is always shaved, due to the frozen block being chipped away by the auger.

Absolutely love this refrigerator. Well made inside and out. Very quiet. So spacious!! This is by far the best refrigerator we have ever bought. Highly recommend.

Icemaker gives more problems than it makes ice. temperature elevates without reason.

We had a white Samsung french door frig that we replaced with this stainless model. Love it. I only gave it 4 stars due to how the factory packaged it. For the most part there was the removable film on it to protect the surface during shipping. On the one door there was no film under the foam padding that was attached with serious sticky adhesive. We worked for a long time trying to remove it and ended up scratching the surface of our brand new frig. NOT HAPPY!

Great experience from the presentation of features and value by Steve to the efficient and great service by the delivery team Miquel and John they wasted no time knowing what to do to make it a smooth transition from our old Refrigerator.

Do NOT buy this fridge. I am on my third fridge of the exact same model and they have ALL had the exact same problem: they leak, yes - even after purging water, and the "cubed" ice is ALWAYS crushed. The mechanism inside the fridge doesn't properly turn to prevent the ice crushing teeth from grinding up the ice. So, no matter what, we always have kamikaze ice shrapnel shooting out from the dispenser. It's annoying, not only because it's not what we select, but it literally goes everywhere but the glass. I constantly have ice shards on my floor and the ice maker drips continuously. It's not a "one off" issue, like Best Buy suggested. THREE of the exact same fridge have the exact same issue. Other (minor) annoyances: there's no light for ice externally and the shelving is a pain to remove. I ordered a replacement of an entirely different LG fridge. Enough is enough with this shoddy design. Honestly... from a mom of three kids working two jobs, the time and hassel aren't worth the pretty look. Your floors will be forever moist and muddy. If you have laminate flooring, like I do, it'll be destroyed in a couple months. Don't do it. You will regret it.

It pays to get the warranty. We got a new refrigerator after several appointments to fix it were unresolved. You can trust Best Buy.

It is convenient to use because it is a double door type, and fresh ice and water are winning the hot summer. It is also convenient to use a syrup-type freezer. My choice was good.

So far so good. After a rough start on setting the temperature. I had to go to youtube to do this as the manual did not have correct instruction on how to set up temperature.

This is the most poorly made refrigerator I've ever owned! SAMSUNG is a horrible company to work with and has zero customer service! First refrigerator I've ever owned that for no reason at all quit working! Ignore the 10 year guarantee on the compressor because they tell you they have no dealers in the area who can fix it!
