It doesn’t MATTER how lovely, how delightfully cold is this fridge, because SAMSUNG failed miserably at THE central design challenge of two swinging refrigerator doors successfully closing and sealing against only each other. I am a middle school teacher and participate in tag-team caregiver duties at my sister’s home with our 79 year old diminutive mom (yes it’s backward; mom has to care for her child with early dementia). I’ve purchased two SAMSUNG TVs in the past twelve months, and unreservedly purchased this fridge online as a result of my experience and confidence in both SAMSUNG and Best Buy. I knew Mom would be bowled over (on her birthday) by a 2021 refrigerator such as this, how it would serve as some delight in midst of caregiver stress, but instead I have to keep showing her how to “be careful” and ensure the doors close. In 2021. It’s outrageous, unacceptable. I have a 10 year old Kenmore at my home and couldn’t even tell you how the doors meet and seal against each other because they do it every time, no matter if only one door is opened, or both opened and closed simultaneously, and no matter the age of the person attempting to access the contents of the refrigerator. Just you go inside any retailer that sells appliances. Dart on over to the French door refrigerator models, repeatedly open and close the doors individually, then simultaneously. Try all units, even if you wouldn’t buy that particular one. Ask your friends and family about their units’ door function. This is a practice I didn’t think I needed to do as a consumer but I am advising you because you will come to know by gazing only at my images how absolutely preposterous is this mechanism on this fridge. The left door has a hinged piece of “trim” that is supposed to slide behind the right door edge and provide a seal. It’s cumbersome and inconsistent. My final pic shows an unsuccessful “closure”. Truly, I’m astonished that people thought this design was at all plausible. Perhaps…noooo…surely it’s not why it was discounted? Say it isn’t so! Best Buy PLEASE come and get this. Let me find another, and return to my delighted long term customer status.

Paid for installation and my doors are uneven. When I called Best Buy.com they told me this model has uneven doors...???

so far so good. great size. SS gets finger prints ez, otherwise no complaints. Quite while running. I love no ice maker in the door. Will hold 8 gals of milk in the doors with two shelves to spare. Freezer is ez to clean and has lots of room.

I’ve been using the Samsung refrigerator for a few months now, and overall, I’m quite impressed. The design is sleek, and it fits perfectly in my kitchen. The adjustable shelves offer plenty of flexibility for storing larger items, making it easy to organize everything. The cooling performance is excellent, keeping everything fresh for longer, and the freezer has ample space for all my frozen goods. I also appreciate the built-in water and ice dispenser, which is convenient and works flawlessly. The only reason I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is that it can be a bit noisy at times, especially when the ice maker is running. Additionally, the fingerprint-resistant finish could be more effective, as it does show smudges more than I’d like. Despite these minor issues, it’s a great fridge, and I’m happy with my purchase.

Styrofoam on the freezer is completely super glued and does not peel off clean at all. Had to spend an extra 1-2 hours scrubbing the bottom to remove and there is still residue left on the surface. Incredibly frustrating and this makes me never want to buy another appliance from Samsung again.

Can’t recommend this unit enough. Plenty of space, solid layout, stays cold cold, and looks chic without trying to hard. Honestly a good blend between new and old world styles, but finds a comfortable medium where it just WORKS.

I did not think I wanted French doors but I had to have a bottom freezer. Sales rep really worked had with us to get most of what we wanted. We must have 'old' tastes as we wanted a Bisque color, bottom freezer DOOR (not drawer), no ice maker or water, and single door refrig. This purchase is a testament to the skill and patience of the sales rep. He did listen to what we wanted to replace our 20+ year old Amana. Who knew that 'styles' in refrigerators change almost as much as shoes! This French Door Stainless refrigerator has incredible interior lighting and so much space! After unpacking our coolers, the new refrig looks like we haven't shopped in weeks! I thought I'd not like the bottom freezer drawers, but I'm finding that there's a lot more room than it looks empty and with planning (i.e., meats on left, vegetables on right) it isn't hard to find what I'm looking for. The ice maker that comes in all refrigerators these days is not hooked up and is totally unobtrusive so we haven't lost any freezer storage space and the sliding tray in the freezer has plenty of storage also for smaller things. Sometimes getting what you didn't ask for is better than what you had and this is certainly the case with our new refrigerator. Runs quietly, digital temperature readings in the wall, bright light in the interior. Shelves in the doors are spacious as is the pull out full width drawer. I'm glad we got this Samsung and I hope it lasts a long time so I don't have to shop new style refrigerators again!

The refrigerator is a very large capacity 3 door. It is very convenient to use and has lots of storage space. I just love the ice maker. The refrigerator is very quiet when it is operating. The only thing I miss is special place for storing my butter.

I'm downgrading my rating of this otherwise beautiful and excellent refrigerator, due to a simple design or production fault. I have had two of these refrigerator installed in the past 3 weeks, and both quickly triggered circuit breakers on GFI circuits, and GFCI outlets. I tested it on different circuits, one GFI, one with a GFCI outlet. It triggered the fault on both. A Best Buy appliance specialist reassured me after this happened with the first one that it was a unit defect, and I should be able to expect the replacement one would work correctly. It did not. There is nothing wrong with our circuits or wiring, and the refrigerator outlet worked fine for 12 years with a similarly-sized LG model. We had the first of these two new refrigerators on an extension cord to a non-GFI circuit for the past three weeks. It worked fine, and we definitely appreciated the spaciousness, the design and functionality. All of those are 5 star features. After almost a month of trying to deal with this defect, and finiding that it is present in the replacement as well as the first one, we have decided to keep it, and plan to spend the considerable money to put in a separate non-GFI dedicated circuit for the refrigerator, rather than continue to put up with the disruption of having an otherwise excellent refrigerator be unreliable on a modern electrical GFI or GFCI protected circuit. Best Buy and their customer support personnel, installers and staff have been exemplary throughout this ordeal. This is on Samsung. It is inexcusable to build a product which can not work correctly on ground fault interrupter-protected circuits. Whether it is a manufacturing problem, or a design problem, Samsung needs to correct this issue.

This review may be a bit premature with only having this refrigerator for a month, but its the best one I’ve purchased so far. Space is incredible & the look goes perfect with our industrial style we chose. Super quiet! Very easy to keep clean. Would definitely recommend!

Best fridge ive ever had i love the amount of room in this fridge and easy to pull apart and clean when you need to cause your kids spill syrup all over and dont tell you.... but it is easy to use and keep at the temp you want and stays nice and cold.

Love my new French door refrigerator. So much room for everything and the lower freezer is fantastic. My first bottom freezer and I love the ease of finding items and the ability to stack items. The ice maker works great too. The gallon storage capacity on the refrigerator doors makes it convenient for wine bottles, and other oversize items.
