I bought it specifically to use with my Mac Mini, and it works great. I could not see myself using any other monitor for my Mac Mini. It is 4K, which to me was the "minimum" for working on the Mac, and the HDR pops colors out great. I would not use it as a primary monitor for my gaming desktop because the refresh rate is low, but it's possible for someone who prefers high resolution over frames. PROS: Decent price (often on sale), great colors, thin bezel, VESA mount, slim design, eye-saver mode, multiple inputs, AMD Freesync CONS: Framerate (60hz)

You can see the picture clearly from all angles. It's worth every penny - great value.

However, everytime my MacBook would go to sleep the monitor would die and not wake up without unplugging it and powering it back up. I've never had this problem with other monitors (HP, LG, and others) so, even though I generally like Samsung products, this one went back to Bestbuy after it happened several times over the course of a couple of days. Also, while it was in "dormant" mode, it was clear that the screen had definite areas where the pixels were darker than others even though I would have thought the display would have been consistent over the entire screen rather than patchy. Finally, another reviewer mentioned the awkwardness of the controls and I have to echo that. The joystick that turns it on and off and also gets you to the options is awkward both in location and operation.
