The problem is it rarely turns on correctly. Whenever I attach my laptop via HDMI, the monitor NEVER correctly detects the input source (regardless of input detection settings) and the screen will remain black, despite the power button light indicating that the power is on. In fact, my laptop will also recognize that the monitor is there, as I can drag windows to it, but cannot see them because the screen will not turn on. In order to resolve this problem, I have to unplug the monitor and plug it back in almost EVERY time I use it. I'm occasionaly able to press the power button in the correct sequence (which never seems to be the same) in order for it to actually recognize the laptop as being connected.

The following could help to solve the issue of the monitor having difficulty coming out of sleep mode.
1) Check if your graphics card has any updates available. If updates are available, install them. If you require help installing your graphics card updates, please contact your graphics card manufacturer.
2) Perform a Windows Update. Visit Microsoft's online update page, and then follow all on-screen prompts.
3) Check that your monitor has the latest software by visiting [insert link to specific model]
4) Check your signal cable. Try using a different cable to verify if your cable is defective.

This monitor is not good for any digital/content creators, videographers or photo editors. Anyone working with color grading shouldn't use this monitor. I was told it has great color accuracy only to find out the coloring when editing photos, etc. is very dull and low in saturation although it doesn't seem that way at first glance. Other than that, the monitor is also heavy and thick. It's got a great width to handle lots of screens open at one time but you pay for it with he thickness of the monitor. Overall, if you're doing heavy data entry or coding, something with basic documents, this monitor is probably for you. Otherwise, its low quality.
