The split screen option simple is not useable. The screens are too narrow. This was the main reason why I purchased this monitor. I returned it.

Had to return both as the sound drove me up the wall. Tried everything possible to resolve

For some reason it’s pretty dim and the colors aren’t that great. I haven’t tried with a PC but I’m sure it’s better with Win 10 and a decent GPU.

The screen was too matte

However, my eyes could not handle this screen. I had eye strain and a headache within 30 minutes of using it and they never adapted after a couple days of use. I noticed the displayed seemed very matte almost to the point that it looked sparkly to me on white backgrounds. I am a Mac user and used to a glossy, crisp screen so heavy matte is a no go for me so I had to return it.

So that's another $20 for the cable that should have come with it. And I'm getting flicker problems. Nor does Samsung does not make it easy to download an updated driver from their website. My use is as a CAD monitor and I'm still trying to get it to function. I may need to do a return. Not impressed at this point even though I had great expectations and wanted it to work.

I bought this monitor as an open-box 'Excellent' condition. Upon receiving the monitor, I saw that it was clearly used with scuff marks. No warranty, no instruction manuals. And worst of all, the thing was defective. After powering on, it showed a big gray blob right in the middle of the screen. So my conclusion is to never trust and buy Bestbuy open-box items. More than likely it will cause you frustration and wasted time packing things up and bringing it back to the store to return.

Didn’t like from start

I can barely see anything and sometimes the monitor malfunctions and I can’t see anything at all in dark scenes so I have to unplug it and wait a while and plug it back in just to get back to the poor quality that is standard. I have the brightness on maximum. Another issue is that I have it set for automatic source detection but I have to manually tell it to detect the source every time I change devices. Whenever I turn off a device, I have to wait a while before pressing the button to bring up the menu so I can change sources. If I leave my device on and want to change inputs, I don’t have to wait before pressing the button.
