Used it for an hour and realized there was a tiny white dot near the center. Dead pixel. Had to return it but It was a nice monitor besides that.

That's why I bought this when I wanted 4K monitors. But I have to say I am kind of disappointed, especially when I compared this one with the Viewsonic 4K monitor I bought in the same week. But 2 monitors side by side, I can see the same price range Viewsonic 4K monitor has much better video/photo quality.

The overall quality of the display is good but I ended up returning as I don't see its worth the price with bleeding around the edges that is more noticeable when you have a darker background/picture.

missing accessory

Display port won't work in 2013 MacBook Air

Tried it with two different mini DP to DP cables and tried to reset the monitor as well as change the DP from 1.2 down to 1.0. The Mac senses the monitor and thinks it is driving two monitors, but the Samsung stays black. I can only get DP to HDMI to work, so only have the lower resolution option. Older Mac users beware!

Serious quality issues

I returned it to BestBuy and it was an easy exchange for another one just like it. The second one did the same thing, only it blacked out and stayed out. It was also returned to BestBuy. I ended up switching to a different brand and it works great!

Amazing but not accurate

Poor design for VESA mount

But that's okay! I bought this monitor along with a desk mount. Most the VESA now have both 75x75 and 100x100mm pattern. Because of the stupid round shape design, Vesa does not fit in the place. I couldn't find any desk mount monitor arm for 75x75mm vesa only.

Would not buy again. Poor quality.

I ended up selling it and getting a better Samsung 1440p monitor.

Auto Switch doesn't work, OSD is clunky to use.

I foresee wearing out that button early. Also doesn't help the OSD is clunky to use. Returning. Samsung support was zero help.

Sound stopped working. Samsung support no help.

We sent it into Samsung to get it fixed under the warranty and they did nothing to fix the problem. Over a week without the monitor and it comes back still no sound and Samsung claiming they found no problem. We have tried different sounds source, cables, inputs. Even switched the cable from a monitor that is working to this one and still no sound.

Poor Samsung quality

The monitor crashed down on my face. The second Samsung wouldn't stay on for over an hour. The third Samsung upon return of #2 was intermittent. Sometimes the menu would not show up, sometimes the screen would go black, sometimes it wouldn't turn on or turn off. I wonder how Samsung #4 is going to do.
