Customers are saying

Customers admire the 28” ViewFinity UHD IPS AMD FreeSync with HDR Monitor's picture quality, color vibrancy, and value for its price, frequently praising the HDR capabilities and ease of use. However, some users express concerns regarding the refresh rate and the monitor stand's sturdiness. Additionally, the lack of built-in speakers and the placement of the VESA mount have drawn criticism, as has the input switching mechanism.

Amazing screen for the price. 4k looks crisp at this screen size. I have multiple 4K 32” screens and they don’t look as sharp as this one. Needs a little calibration for the colors but once dialed in for the price it’s unbelievable.

Great monitor for the casual gaming player or just regular use. Compatible with Xbox series x, has High-Definition Ray Tracing, 4K, UHD, an HDMI port, customization options for gaming and regular use. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND FOR COMPETITIVE GAMERS AS IT IS LOW HZ. (Expected for the price)

I love this monitor. The resolution and colors are very good. Very nice monitor, the only thing that would make it better would be an altitude adjustment. The tilt doesn’t give enough Ty range of motion.

I am not technically savy, so please don't ask me questions. I know that this monitor works great, right out of the box. The only thing I had trouble with is setting up the menu on the screen itself. There is a button under the front that must be pushed in one of 4 directions,...but I never was able to set-up the device or get the display menu to come on,....I have no idea how to set up the settings, like brightness or contrast or those kind of things. The display mode is as the factory settings are by default. Still, I have no complaints. It works, and I am happy with the brightness and color. If there is a link to the on-line set-up manual, that would be great if someone could show me. Thank you! Even for those tech savy, I do not think you will be disappointed with this product. This product is large and a little heavy, but I was able to figure out how to set-up the stand fairly easily, and I am a 61yr old disabled lady.

I love this monitor, it's great for the price. I initially purchased it for a ps5 when they released but it has been used for so much more. The 60hz refresh is great for casual gaming, screen is wonderful in hdr mode. The only reason I had to remove 1 star is because of the mount it comes with, I had to purchase a different base to be able to comfortably move and resposition. Also, when the source is turned off (let's say pc goes into sleep mode) you can't just wake up by moving the mouse or keyboard especially if this is a multi-display set up. You need to hold the power button for 3-4 seconds, then turn back on to force the monitor back on.

    Super Sharp, Crisp 4K Monitor

Bright, vivid screen. Text looks so crisp on a 4k monitor. Multiple settings to play with for picture quality and brightness settings. Super sharp and defined picture with great color. If you are in the market for a 4K monitor, grab this one while it's on the black Friday sale. For around $250 including tax, you have a beautiful and crisp screen to enjoy computer media. The size is perfect too and the nearly borderless design makes it really great for watching videos. It's also crisp/sharp to a fault where it's a bit of an adjustment for me to the softer more fuzzy images that I am used to seeing on a screen. That lower resolution almost seems easier on the eyes. But I can't knock it for that!

This was a Father’s Day gift for my husband. He picked it out. The monitor stand was easy to assemble. We had the adapter cable needed to connect the HDMI cord to his Macbook Air. Picture is amazing! Brilliant colors. Clean and crisp. Even excel files and word docs look great. He uses it daily.

Excellent monitor used for work & browsing. 60 hz refresh not best for gaming. Excellent colors for IPS panel & input. Good for both mac & PC. IPS panel & 4k capability makes this more expensive than other cheaper models, but imo is worth the extra $$

Stand is lame (not adjustable in any way), but I mounted it to a better stand I had. Great quality and got it for a great price. My wife's first monitor for her laptop and she LOVES it.

Purchased for work due to working at home now and wanting more desktop space on a single screen. I'm used to Dell Ultrasharp monitors for editing, and this was a very reasonable compromise for what I would consider a budget 4K monitor. Color is on the cool side (blue) and default color profiles are pretty contrasty. A few color correction attempts and it's close enough for work. Not perfect, I'll admit, but at nearly half the cost of other 4k photo editing monitors this is certainly good enough to get you nearly there. The multiple ports work well having to computers plugged in (work machine and personal machine). But the single menu/power/toggle button setup can be temperamental when trying to switch inputs. Sometimes it doesn't "see" the other input signal when you ask it to switch inputs. Thin, lightweight, and doesn't put out much heat at all. Screen tilts, but does not raise or lower. So you might want a stand for it depending on your desk/table. For all the positives, and the price, five stars.

Just plugged it for the first time and getting familiar with it. Bought it to use for media creation. Still haven't calibrated it with the spider. It has tons of color settings and quality settings. Colors are very abundant, not lacking any at all. If you have ever owned anything Samsung with a color display, then you'll be already familiar with the color quality here. I do notice the highest brightness setting may not be bright enough for some people. The brightness is perfect enough for media creation since calibrated monitors are not super bright. Gamers may not find this monitor bright enough, but I'm not a gamer. Definitely recommended for media creation. Gamers may want something brighter. The best here is that it has a lot of color and picture quality settings making it the most flexible monitor I've seen.

So this was another one of my "Open Box Excellent" exploits. The first unit was delivered, and I installed it on my desk to replace my aging 24" Lenovo QHD monitor. Unfortunately, the plastic on the back of the monitor was unsnapped on one side - no big deal, it snapped right back in. However, even though the unit connected to my computer right away, the joystick/power button was completely inoperative. Back to my local BB. They did not have another open box unit, fortunately while in the store I was able to order another identical unit online. It was $10 more for whatever reason, so be it. This one arrived a few days later and is excellent. Pros: - (2) HDMI inputs to allow switching from my work computer to work laptop without an A/B switch - Well-designed cord management system integrated into the base really cleans up the looks - Outstanding picture quality and has an EyeSaver more if you want to work in dim light Cons: - The "joystick/power button" combo is a bit wonky. I am sure I will get used to it, I only have had the monitor a few days as I type this. I know, showing my age a bit here! - Compared to the metal base on my retired Lenovo monitor, the plastic base seems a bit flimsy, but I suppose it's adequate - Thickness of the unit at the top means my webcam does not sit as securely as before - may need to enhance with a piece of Velcro If you can get this in the mid $100's as I did, it's a no-brainer!

A step up from my 8 years old 1080p Samsung monitor. This one is also 5 inches larger than my old monitor and fits just right on my desk. For the money, you likely won't find a better 4K HDR computer monitor.

Great Monitor, the picture quality is great for work, not so much for gaming but good. My only gripe is the stand, it takes up a lot of desk space. I replaced the stand with a monitor arm and it fits perfectly on my desk

As with most of Samsungs products, a very good quality monitor at a reasonable price. Keep in mind 4K monitors always work better with decent graphics cards but it will work as a 2nd monitor for any laptop with an HDMI out, you might have to run it at lower resolution.
