I mostly do programming/coding and I read a lot of text. Sometimes I play games too. I decided to go 4K for the crisp text, and I'm so glad I did. Wow, It's amazing. This monitor is everything I could want. Great viewing angles, razer sharp text, nice and bright, and plenty of settings to adjust the picture for viewing comfort. I highly recommend this monitor. I wish I had it a year ago. The only drawbacks are not related to the monitor at all: 1) The included HDMI cable is short and unreliable. I got occasional signal drops. Also if you have an NVIDIA video card, Freesync (G-SYNC compatibility mode) does not work over HDMI. Plan on buying a high quality Displayport cable that is not included, and when shopping for a Displayport cable google "pin 20 displayport issue" and make sure you get a cable that does not have this problem. 2) Windows high-dpi scaling is still a poor experience. Especially with this monitor size at 4K, the most "comfortable" scaling level is about 125%, some apps are not optimized for this and prefer 150%. You will need to get familiar with windows per-application display scaling if you decide to go with a 4K monitor in 2020. I hope windows applications improve high dpi support in the future.

The high resolution allows more content to fit on the screen and the image is crisp ans bright. Big step up from your typical HD (1080P) screen.

I read the reviews but bought it anyway. Terrible location for the VESA mount! For the price point, the colors and sharpness were fantastic! I connected it to my M1 MacBook Pro and was very pleased at the outcome. Sadly b/c of the mounting issue I had to return it and go with an LG 4k model.

I knew what I wanted but didn’t know what to expect. It’s a good first 4K monitor for gaming and I’m content with the display it presents. I get frustrated when attempting to turn it off as the menu sometimes doesn’t pop up but it’s not a deal breaker.

The sharpness is much better than an HD monitor. What was a surprise is the jerkiness due (I guess) to the refresh rate of 30, which is max for my desktop. The recommended refresh rate of 60 might solve this. There was nothing to prepare me for this issue/requirement. There should have been details online in the description that specified minimum graphics card settings for optimal result. I guess I'll make-do until I'm ready to replace my desktop.
