I use 2 of these Samsung UR55 4k monitors as dual-monitors with my laptop (also w/ 4k screen). I have used these monitors with work, school and MS Flight simulator 2020. I am not really a big gamer so I will not even attempt to talk about the refresh rates and gaming; however, if you are looking for additional monitors to go with your home computer...these will work great.

The price for the features is what sold us. We are very happy with the quality that we ended up buying two a few months apart!

Upgraded to a 4k monitor for photo and video editing. Quality is great and images are crystal clear. Color is true.

This is a great monitor. The only complaint, which is noted in other reviews, is that you can't use a normal 75/100 VESA mount without using spacers and buying longer M4 screws. The rounded notch on the back of the monitor obstructs a normal VESA mount. Samsung really missed the mark on this aspect. But otherwise, I like everything else about this monitor.

Works very well for my security system display. Great price for a 4K monitor.

I've been using it with a MacBook Air and it gives a nice 4k picture when I want one. The MacBook Air has no trouble driving it, using a USB-C to HDMI adaptor. The base has a very wide footprint, almost as wide as the monitor itself. So that's something that might matter to people but I don't have an issue with it. The monitor tilts, but does not raise or lower in hight. I like using the single button/joystick on the bottom rather than 4 or 5 buttons found on other monitors. Especially ones that are not labeled well anyway. Overall I'm happy with the purchase.

Vibrant colors and clear picture with a slim form factor. Only downside is the lacking vertical tilting adjustments and the oddly designed UI.

Ive had this monitor a year now and it has had no issues. Wonderful upgrade from what I had before. Crystal clear picture for gaming.

The monitor is great, bright, and sharp. I use it for graphic design via Display Port, occasionally video playback.

I've found this monitor to be great value. I liked my first one so much I bought a second when it went on sale. Two things to be aware of: 1) don't expect to use this as a UHD monitor, and 2) the stand is not the best and you may find you want to replace it with a better one (I have not done so).

I spent about a month trying to find a super high-quality 4k monitor for under $300. The picture quality is fantastic. I run this monitor on a 4k 60hz HDMI cable ( The included cable only supports 60hz.) I use this on a USB c display port for my MacBook air m1 that supports 4k 60hz output. This is a great deal and I purchased it immediately when it went on sale. The monitor has thin borders and a modern look. No speakers

Clean crisp and big. No issues so car for the past month. Gaming isnt a problem either, altho the frame rate is at the lowest end. 60 is too low if your trying to go crazy in cod. But its still possible.

Excellent monitor. Colors are rich and true. It's a Samsung, so it's not made in China

I tried 27"+ several monitors and ended up this one, then bought 2 of them for my house since we are all WFH, great monitor with fast response and clear picture, look good too with thin edge. A 2nd note: Microsoft Surface Dock doesn't work well with the TN-type monitors I tried before this IPS-type one. My only problem is, it won't sleep while connected with Surface Dock, guess it's the dock issue...

This is a beautiful High-Quality picture monitor with decent color matching. One minor issue, though, when connecting with USB-C to HDMI, it take a while to boot up and link the screen as a external display. Something to consider, otherwise this monitor is golden.
