First things first, this isn’t the worst monitor that I’ve used by far, but it’s not one that I can recommend. I used this monitor for roughly a month, on a daily basis, before I returned it. I used this monitor for various applications that it should be well suited for. From basic web browsing, to watching videos, studying, programming, I even fired up a few games to see what the monitor is capable of. For most basic tasks it’s a serviceable monitor. Text is crisp, colors are acceptable (don’t plan on photo/video editing with any color accuracy) and the size is great. Build quality is decent, and cable management channels are built into the provided stand which is always a nice touch. The screen itself has small bezels and a slightly matte finish. Glare wasn’t too much of an issue, but the brightness isn’t anything to write home about. I didn’t personally have any issues with the menu configuration, or the strange VESA mounting solutions needed for if you don’t plan on using the included stand. These are still concerns other reviewers have voiced and you should factor them into your decision to buy. The problems I had were more regarding the specs and shortcomings of the monitor’s features. You probably won’t find gaming enjoyable on this monitor. 5ms response time paired with 60hz refresh rate feels like molasses compared to the 1ms 144hz I was coming from. The other thing that I had issues with was the variable refresh rate feature of the monitor. When active (and only capable of 48-60hz variance), the screen would noticeably flicker. This was not an issue with cables or my computers. In fact I tried it with both a PC using a 3070ti for output, and with a MacBook Pro M1 Pro with multiple cables (DisplayPort, HDMI, USB C to DP) and the issue persisted. I can’t say if this was just my monitor that had these issues, or if it is widespread. Overall, if you’re going to be using it for office tasks and watching videos or looking at photos I’d say give it a shot if the price is right for you. Personally I’ll be shopping for something with a higher refresh rate, better response times, brighter screen and probably something with 1440p resolution.

This monitor is the perfect size for my desktop use. I appreciate how vivid the colors are presented on the screen and that it can also be used with my macbook pro with an adapter that I purchased separately.

My first UHD monitor, the Samsung unit is a fairly good size, resolution is as expected. Note that no speakers are on the unit, but the headphone jack on the back helps. Viewing angles are as expected, the provided mount is good quality.

Crisp image and the perfect size for my desk! The base is pretty big, but it has an x-mount on the back for hooking up to desk mounts.

Clear picture, great quality. You do need to buy separate speakers tho.

When I connected to my macbook pro the mouse was a little big laggy but the quality was great! I actually didn't end up keeping this monitor because I needed to get an ultra-wide monitor for video editing purposes. But nonetheless it was good quality

I bought this while on sale. This monitor is so beautiful. I use it for PC gaming and for my PS5. works flawlessly and I would highly recommend. I have had it for a few months and I cannot find a single flaw.

This is an OK 28" 4K monitor but it is by no means a stand out. Other competitors from Dell offer things like PD-Charging and single USB-C DP connectivity. This monitor only offer a legacy full size DP port and two HDMIs. There are no built in speakers. The matte finish on the monitor looks a bit dull and the black point is poor. There is a lot of light bleed on this. If this was being used as a monitor to display metrics maybe its tolerable. For serious photo editing, multiple terminal windows, etc. this feels like a poor man's monitor.

Great monitor at a great price. I bought this to use as one of my monitors for work. Because of the docking station and setup of my work computer, I'm not able to capitalize on the 4k, but the 1080P looks fantastic for the setup. A nice big screen that I can have multiple documents or spreadsheets on, and still have enough real estate to see them clearly. Would be nice to color calibrate it to the other monitors in the setup, but unable to do so because of the work computer. This isn't the monitor's fault. Again, great monitor at a great price. So far I am very happy with it.

Certainly one of the best 4K monitors out there. The large and clear screen allows me to easily have multiple files displayed for writing software. The large base makes the monitor very stable.

Great monitor. Good brightness, color, and clarity. Outstanding for movies and computer tasks. Not the best for gaming.

I’ve had my monitor for a while now and have used it more than anyone can imagine since the new PlayStation5 came out and I have had no problems with lag or or and pixels start to die out only downside I have is it’s only 60hz but you won’t notice it at all

Was very let down by how difficult this has been to get this big guy to play nice with my smaller Samsung FHD monitor. It looks great, but honestly I can't see any advantage with the HDR enabled in Windows, it looks the same on or off. The problem is that it keeps blinking in and out of HDR mode when there is HDR content in the screen. Like the windows volume indicator that pops up when you adjust the volume instantly causes both monitors to black out for a second or two. Using Premier Pro with the HDR enabled is also very buggy and has caused the same blackouts. Super annoying. With HDR disabled it seems pretty great so far but I'm not sold. I think it's going back. The advertised HDR support I think is just a way to sell it more, but it really makes no difference on or off.

Replaced my primary monitor with this and the switch from 1080P to 4K was absolutely amazing. 28 inch screen is the perfect size and mounting up to a vesa arm has made it perfect. HDR mode gets a little dark, so I currently stick to 4K SDR

Bought a pair of these one for an 80 plus year old to use and the other for a remote workstation set up. Can easily manage the equivalent of two screens. I am not enamored with the toggle switch.

This is an excellent monitor. It replaces my olds 20 in monitor which was getting a little fuzzy around the edges. I cant believe the difference in size, really helpful to our 68 year old eyes! I will say GET ONE!
