Monitor fell out of it's case/housing after mount!

The stand it comes with is extremely wobbly and while I'm typing the monitor is moving at the slightest movement of the table it is on. After a few months of getting annoyed with this I decided to mount this to a monitor stand. It has the standard VESA mount for this, so it was an easy install. After about a month, I go to tilt the stand. It was then that the monitor decided fall out of the housing and plummet to it's death. IT literally fell out of the housing. The black plastic housing remaining securely fastened to the VESA mount, the screen assembly and logic board fell out as a single unit. I was now able to see the poor construction of this mount. The VESA mount does not fasten to the the actual screen assembly or logic board, it just connects to the housing. So if the plastic tabs fail on the housing, the entire monitor will fall out of it.

Amazing display, but crooked.

It’s crooked. I tried messing with it 6x til Sunday and still, the difference in height between left and right is about 1/4 of an inch. Returning it tomorrow in hopes this is a one-off and we’ll be good to go with a new one soon.

I sift through monitor function vs value like an insane person, but I have to say for the expectation and price point, this is an excellent choice. Super clear (if you work on your computer all day, treat yourself to 4k, you won't be sorry). Only regret is I didn't get / find this one sooner. Not too big for my modest desk and definitely my new favorite go to. VESA mount option a huge plus with "zero edge" bezel

As I age (70+) and my eye sight diminishes, the addition of these 28" 4K Samsung monitors are a real treat. They have spectacular color and when coupled to the MBP, they really shine on my desktop. Put two screens up is really good when doing tutorials as training video on one screen while I practice on the other. Makes training so much easier and more complete. Thanks to BestBuy and Samsung!
