Good price to buy a 28’ monitor with this high resolution

The display is great but overall I didn't like it because of the stand.

Great monitor, but a wide, dark vertical line appeared after 4 months use. I am guessing led backlight failure. Had to send it to Samsung for service. We will see what happens. Luckily, I have a spare monitor….

amazing tv at first. software lags here and there. universal remote stopped working with my directv receiver. idk what happened tho

It works well and is worth the price as a single monitor, however if you are buying it to pair with another monitor or vesa mounting it, both it’s height and vesa platement make using it with other monitors hard. Still, happy with the price I paid ($180 open box).

Looks great, refresh rate is excellent. I'm not a PC gamer by any means, but it was pretty obvious that the advantage the higher capability of fps was significant compared to a regular tv. My *only* complaint is that the monitor seems to be heavier than anticipated. The monitor droops unless I have this shot glass for it to rest upon.

This panel has excellent colors, I took back a Dell 32 inch 165 curved with HDR, this is 10 times superior. Unlike the Dell you can also change the color, brightness, and contrast while hdr is on. Hdr looks excellent on both my Radeon 5700xt with free sync, and my play station pro. Eso for play station looks really nice with HDR and 4k on. The input lag on this and response times are both great, I am not sure of the exact numbers, but I usually use Mario 2 as a indicator for me. If there is any noticeable response time or input lag I always die in the first levels. There are minor settings, but this out of the box is excellent and nothing really needs to be changed, other than if you like cold or warm. There is obviously ips glow, and back light issues but all monitors have horrid garbage back lights. I have tried up 32 1080 ips, hp 24 1080 ips, Samsung qled 144 hz27 curved qled horrid color VA which was the worse back light bleed out of them all, asus 24 144 hz tn horrid colors on that one, and a Dell 32 inch curved which not only had a horrid back light but the colors were terrible. This monitor you can't see the ips glow or the back light bleed in game, with a light on, unlike the VA panels which look way worse, they are not like a VA panel tv with good uniformity. If you want a good back light you either gotta go with a Vizio TV or oled, monitors for some reason fail bad at it. The stand is garbage on this monitor it doesn't do anything poorly made, and it's made of cheap plastic. The hook ups are hard to get to and the werid circle thing in the back is kinda hard to put a wall mount on. I am only interested in color though so that's meaningless to me. The controls are very easy to use and I have never accidentally hit something I didn't want to, unlike the garbage dell that has like 6 buttons that don't line up. This has a simple joystick in a great spot right under the monitor. This is my favorite monitor u have ever had, and is a excellent choice for PS4 or xbox, and definitely a good choice for ps5 and the newer Xbox. It is also a great monitor for Radeon card owners . Not sure if Nvidia work with freesync. On PC Radeon it seems to work with 12 bit 422 hdr looks great. Now if you want better looking text go rgb 8bit. I prefer the HDR 12 bit tho, but text definitely looks better with rgb by alot.

The experience with the monitors has been excellent.

You'll need the cans to prop up the monitor after the crappy monitor stand breaks. I purchased this monitor exactly one month and one day ago. Today I gently nudged it back to line it up with my other monitors and the stand SHATTERED. It didn't just crack, it fell to pieces - see the picture. Looking pretty professional to have pineapple cans holding up my monitor. Conveniently past return date to Best Buy. I'll get on to Samsung support but I suspect pineapples are in my future. Seriously don't buy this monitor.

I bought this monitor on April 30, 2020 for $379.00 (pre tax). It’s been good until recently I found there is a wide strip that is slightly brighter than the other areas. See pics ( area between arrows is brighter than the rest of the screen. It’s a bit hard to see but it is there). I thought it was the light in my room so I turned the light off took another pic and it is still there. I’m disappointed because I paid so much for this monitor that I’m expecting a solid quality. In just 11 months it’s failing me. It’s not worth the money.

Overall good monitor. I have three(3) of them at home, and two(2) at work. For the money, you can not go wrong. I have combined three at home, by rotating two of them and centering the third. The level of productivity increase is unreal. The nature of my work requires me to be monitoring different dashboards and data streams.

Pretty decent monitors— I bought 3 for my Mac Studio set up. I should have done more research— get 27”, NOT 28” monitors if are doing multiple screen set up with Mac Studio. It has to do with scaling issues— if you’re just getting one, it’s a decent monitor

Works OK without HDR and terrible with HDR. Connected to my Mac Mini M1 via HDMI 2.0. When HDR is on the screen is too dark and HDR video colors are… check screenshots. Just remove the “HDR” from the model name, turn off it from the display settings and everything will be “fine”.

Screen was chipped out of box. Functions, but cosmetically compromised. I tried to return the next day, but was refused under guise that it is impossible that this came from the factory this way and that I must have done something to cause it. He said-she said. They win. I guess I need to videotape my unboxing of anything over $50, but I guess even then they would say it happened during transport. At this point BB is at the bottom of my technology purchase options.

When I watch YouTube some of the pixels go out on the bottom of the screen I switch monitors to see if it was YouTube or my ps5 but it’s just the monitor really upset since I spent $350 of my hard earned money for this to happen 1 month after getting it and now I can’t return it
