That was the main reason for buying this refrigerator so we're pretty disappointed. Samsung customer service is horrible too.

My only complaint is that the stainless steel is so thin and easily susceptible to dings and dents.

We like the refrigerator but encountered some issues from day one. Door Alarm didn’t stop buzzing and the bottom lights down turn on automatically when it supposed to turn on when you open the refrigerator door. Worst is the service from geek squad they never attempted to call us or reschedule it. We still have the same refrigerator with no replacement. Don’t know where to escalate our concerns but best I can say is not worth the money.

Great fridge

My previous Samsung frefridgerator was lost in a fire after 11 years. I love the drawers/shelves instead of the chest style bottom freezer. You can be organized and pull it out to get to the back.

Love the extra compartment that can be either a fridge or freezer. There only two things I would like to be different. Make the shelves adjustable. The height really limits how you can use the space. And either make the second ice maker produce smaller cubes or do away with it altogether.

The pitcher is great, the ice maker works well but fills in the rear and you dip out of the front. This makes you pull the ice forward at times and is slightly inconvenient, hence the 4 stars. The freezer is very organized, and I like it more than the bottom freezers I have always had.

The only minor negative is the ice bins tend to dump a little ice down the back of the freezer when you are scooping out ice.

It doesn’t ever fill itself up all the way maybe like 2 inches. Also no in northern Illinois services this model fridge. So they won’t send anyone out to fix any issues just exchange it.
