This refrigerator replaced a brand new lg fridge that lasted a whole week and a half purchased from another building supply store with an orange logo. Won’t be doing that again due to a 48 hour return policy. This fridge has exceeded our expectations. We have used the variable quadrant as a drink (soda, wine, water bottles, juices) area and it has worked out great. The ice maker has been working flawlessly for about a month now and produces enough ice for my family of 5 and plenty of ice in reserve. The effort used to scoop ice is well worth not having to defrost the ice maker as other options require. The hub is kind of cool but we have yet to really take advantage of the feature. Honestly we went with the hub just because we could get the fridge a month earlier. The smooth lines and good sized door trays keep everything looking good and organized. We are very happy with the fridge and the quadrant aspect did not take much time to get used to. Disclaimer: we have a chest freezer to use for storage in addition to the freezer on the unit. Overall happy with this purchase.

Love it! But it takes getting use to not having handles

I wasn’t sure we’d use all the tech on it but it’s really the star attraction in the kitchen! Everyone loves it. Originally bought it from a competitor who failed to deliver it for 3 months then claimed no one in America had this model. I contacted Best Buy the verified they had it in stock and it was delivered in a matter of days.

Amazing. Kid loves to play with the fridge and watch youtube on it. Wife loves to turn on her playlist while cooking or cleaning the house. Friend thought we had a Bose sound system when really it was just our fridge. Great purchase. Receive compliments daily on the fridge.

This is not a negative review. In fact, I'm giving it 5 stars given all of the great features that the refrigerator has but I feel obligated to "correct" some of the information put out by Samsung since it played a role in my purchase and the information was not correct (and I just spent over an hour on the phone with their FamilyHub support to confirm that the following information in their manual, on their website and most importantly in their promotional literature is NOT correct). We live in a smartphone age and I think it's a great concept to continue to use the refrigerator as a communications hub within the home with messages and pictures but now digitally. I CAN send picture and videos to the refrigerator BUT Samsung says that this refrigerator supports 2-way communications by allowing the refrigerator whiteboard to mirror on the app so notes can be quickly sent to the refrigerator from the app and the app can see what's on the whiteboard. This does NOT work and Samsung said that they have no intention of having it work in the future. Nor will they support their advertised simpler messaging feature to send a simple text message to/from the refrigerator from the app. This is very disappointing as it was a feature that I was looking forward to. Nevertheless it's a great refrigerator but I would have preferred complete honesty.

It's a great fridge with a display but the water dispenser is getting stuck multiple times and we will have to leave it for a couple of days to get that sorted. Not able to figure out what the issue was but it is getting sorted by itself in a couple of days.
