Love the soundbar great sound. Like how it connects easily with Samsung tv. The bass is also very good and can rock the house pretty good.

I bought this sound bar for the living room that has a two story ceiling. The sound bar doesn’t disappoint and fills the room with no problem. Volume and sound quality are great. Love that I can connect via Bluetooth or WiFi and control via the Samsung SmartThings app. Only downside is that I can’t get my Spectrum cable box remote to connect. Not an issue with the sound bar, but I’ve tried every code on the universal remote and nothing will work. Overall I am very pleased and would definitely recommend.

I've been enjoying these speakers over the last two years and feel that they were a great investment. The bass is superb and will rattle the windows at times, if I'm not careful. When paired with the optional satellite speakers, this soundbar & woofer create an all-encompassing sound rivaling that of the movie theaters.

Love the sound quality if you have the matching Samsung Q70 TV. I returned the Q70 to upgrade to Q80, due to crazy glare and reflection. Well, I was thinking the soundbar would be perfectly compatible with Q80 QLED TV as well, but nope. The sound quality went down with incompatibility and lack of Adaptive Sound feature. Before purchasing this soundbar, make sure all features will be accessible or it's not worth the money.

This is the second sound bar I've ever purchased. I loved my 9 year old samsung soundbar. I thought it was great. Then I purchased the q70 soundbar. It is so crystal clear. The way it separates voices from other sounds is amazing. The bass, oh my the bass. Deep, smooth, hard hitting. I really only have 1 small complaint. I haven't noticed it watching a movie or playing a video game, but listening to music through it you can sometimes notice a small lack of mid-bass.

Set up was pretty simple if you are used to setting up electronic devices. Much better than the old receiver and speakers with wires everywhere. I turned it on and Wow. very nice sound. a few adjustments to my liking and the sound was incredible. Now I will say it is not the very best for just listening to music. I would give that edge to Sony but for movies with surround sound this system is second to none in this price range. I am completely satisfied.

We have a large living room and it is surprising how well this soundbar can play into this space. The main selling point was the Dolby Atmos integration, but we have since tried out the DTS-X, both of which sound awesome. Unexpected plus: using this with our Samsung TV and using the ARC input on the soundbar, all of the controls for audio are controlled by the TV remote and shown onscreen. Nice!

It's main job is to provide good sound in a space with a TV, and it does that very well. The sub sounds good, and connected to the rest of the audio, which is often a fault I have with subs. My two complaints: 1) Unable to be controlled by Xfinity X1 remote, so far as I can tell (none of the codes work with it), 2) Wish it had more than one HDMI input. Between #1 & #2, I am left holding two remote all the time until I buy a universal remote.

Coming from a 2.1 samsung sound bar to this is a night and day difference! The bass is perfect and mids are way better than the jbl sound-bar i returned.The sound is amazing and paring with a samsung tv and using ACR is highly recommended. I also recommend the wireless speakers sold separately which bring this sound bar to life even more ! I ordered the speakers on amazon because they are half off compared to how much best buy is selling them for. Make sure you play around with it and figure out the settings because the instructions are horrible.. using the up down and side arrows allows you to make some adjustments under settings. I had trouble pairing and a tip i gave is to download samsung SmartThings, go through the introductions, hold the network button when its paring until it connects instead of 1sec like the instructions call out for on the app.. one connected update firmware and boom you have yourself a solid home theater

First i caught it on sale, tbat was the biggest deal. Second Samsung is a well know name and there profucts are fantastic. This soundbar is excellent, can't explain how much I love it. The sound bar alone was loud enough to hear throughout the house. It's like your sitting in the movie theater

Works perfectly with my samsung tv. It was the matching sound bar for this tv so setup was simple to do. Purchased matching surround speakers as well and setup was near automatic. I'm not an audiofile or a nerd so the above was very important to me. That is sound quality and ease of setup. Very satisfied with product overall.

This made a HUGE difference in the sound quality with our new Samsung TV. I highly recommend. It will give you a much more enjoyable experience whether it’s watching a movie or listening to music. AND so easy to set up. I couldn’t believe how many wires and cables I threw out from the ancient set up we had. LOL

Easy set up and sounds great. My only issue is something that seems to be plaguing many sound bars. The tv arc connection is automatic but if you leave Netflix or dvr/ tv paused the soundbar will turn off. Sometimes it will give you an echo turning on tv and have to mess with audio settings. For me its changing it to pcm then back to bitstream.

I love the Q70 sound bar. It was very easy to set up, and has great sound. At this time I don't have the rear speakers and it is still very deep and inclusive. Better for movies than for music, and the base can be a little heavy but balance can be adjusted. I recommend it. Paired seamlessly with a Samsung TV.

By far the best sound bar that I have purchased I’ve had Vizio 5.1, klipsch 3.1 and now the Samsung . The clarity of the speakers and Atmos system is perfect ! Not the mention the powerful subwoofer you get. Perfect set up for price

I paired this with a Samsung TV and it works perfectly. Love the sound, much better than the standard TV speaker, really makes a difference. Easy to setup, TV immediately recognized it and the connection is simple, one wire, easily hidden. Bluetooth connection option as well. Worth the price.

It was suggested to us that we buy this Samsung system to go along with our Samsung TV purchase. We were lucky enough to talk with a salesman that had deep knowledge of Samsung products; TV's and sound systems alike. He made sure that we bought the sound system that paired best with our TV. Not hard to hook up but there was no manual with the system, had to look it up online, which was an inconvenience. The TV came with a manual. We got a great Black Friday deal on this system. Sound is fantastic; feels like we are in a movie theater! We even have to keep it kind of low because it's works so well.

The sound is very clear. TV, movies and music all sound really clean. Not as rich with music but still very good. Subwoofer is great. Only complaint is that it suffers a little bit at lower volume. As long as you don’t have to waking up family or nearby neighbors then it is an amazing unit.

I purchased this sound bar as it was on sale. Wanted to get Atmos effects in our living room. The sound bar and subwoofer are shockingly good. The only area I found was lacking was the Atmos immersion. Sounds less like a 3.1.2, and more of a 3.1.1 at best. There is minimal separation of the left and right overhead channels, even with Dolby’s and DTS:X demo discs and channel call outs. I added the optional rear speakers and found these speakers added much more immersion than the Atmos effects did. That being said, movies with demo worthy Atmos mixes like Ready Player One and Fury did have decent use of the overhead effects. Again, just with minimal left and right separation. The subwoofer can dig deep in some scenes, but does tend to bottom out and the port I found had a ridiculous amount of noise which was detrimental to the overall sound. This was really only noticeable in the lowest of the frequency range in big blockbuster action movies. For 90% of the content I have watched with this set up, I am quite impressed with the size, power, fidelity, and response of this subwoofer. The main bar itself benefits greatly from the additional center channel. I am a firm believer if you will be buying a sound bar, you at LEAST have to get a 3.1 system. Dialogue is very clear in movies, documentaries, the news, and with normal TV. Overall I really do like this product. I wouldn’t buy it at full price, as the Vizio 5.1.4 system is nearly the same price and has considerably better Atmos effects. I do believe the Q70 r has better bass, and fidelity (presumably due to the collaboration of Harmon Kardon). Being said, there are much worse ways to spend your money, and I don’t think you would be disappointed.
