Didn't connect, wouldn't recognize wifi, would recognize wireless speakers, subwoofer made popping sounds, and the tv wouldn't recognize the soundbar even when it was hard wired. It was super unreliable and the instructions are a generation behind. I returned it for a installed hard wire system

However, the volume level randomly jumps up while in operation. For instance...I have it set on 25 while watching a movie or sports, which is plenty loud. But every 2-3 minutes the volume jumps to 35. It’s super loud at 35, too loud, way too loud. So I don’t even use the speakers that much because it’s a pain sitting there with the remote in hand waiting for the volume to jump up every 2-3 minutes.

Please know that volume inconsistency is often caused by how each source transmits audio. Unlike HD and streaming channels that usually use a better audio codec, many basic cable stations use stereo, which is lesser quality. For example, high definition channels and streaming services may use Dolby Digital, while basic cable stations may only transmit in stereo.
You can try the following tips to help reduce the volume changes among sources:
1) Connect the soundbar via HDMI or Optical if you have not already done so.
2) Choose “NIGHT” mode for the sound mode; press the “EFFECT” button repeatedly until you get to “NIGHT” mode.
I hope these tips help to enhance your audio enjoyment.
