Pretty good for what I paid

If I paid full price, I think I would be disappointed, but it is pretty good for what I paid. The one thing I really like is the sound projection. We can now watch TV at a quieter volume after kid bedtime and hear it much better than the TV sound. The sub is decent but not real noticeable at default settings. When I increase the sun volume, it becomes a little too much, so I haven’t found a happy medium yet. I also used the included mounting hardware which is nice, but the cables don’t allow a nice routing because of the large filter, or whatever it is, on the cable.

With the warranty everything was covered but to buy a brand new system and have it tank within a week isn’t the best.

This is actually the second Q700A that I have purchased for a second television. I tried to save a little and bought the Q600A to save about $100, but it wasn’t worth the sacrifice in sound quality and clarity, so I returned it. With the Q700A, I typically have the volume around 30-35 while watching TV and around 50-60 when watching a movie. You can hear the dialogue clearly and the sound effects are great. With the Q600A, I had to increase the sound levels to 85-95 to try and hear the dialogue watching TV.

Extremely satisfied with the decision. Pros: 1) Works great independently, but even better when paired with a Samsung TV: TV Remote can be linked to provide a yolked volume adjustment. The only time I need a separate sound bar adjustment is when I'm optionally changing the subwoofer settings. 2) Dolby Atmos - Great Power/Quality. 3) Price - Super attainable. Dropped significantly in cost in anticipation of newer models. Cons 1. Nothing I've noticed yet

Owned for 3 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Unit replaced a VIZIO SB36312-G6 which suffered from issues with firmware (hard to upgrade despite my moving the soundbar close to a mesh router), horrifically bad smartphone app ("SmartCast"), and inconsistent pairing with a 2019 Vizio TV (purchased from Best Buy) despite it being in ARC mode. This unit has a neutral sound (not BASS heavy) profile. Also, the Samsung SmartThings app works as intended and is very intuitive. The metal grill on the soundbar is welcome (easy to clean and not susceptible to fabric tears.) There is still fabric on the subwoofer.
