When I purchased my Samsung Q80 55" TV for my bedroom, I thought the sound from the TV was pretty good for a TV. But I decided to add a sound bar to enhance the sound and tried a less expensive Polk sound bar. While the Polk sounded good, it died in 5 months, thank goodness for the Geek Squad warranty. I got a full refund and instead of staying with the Polk S2, I thought I would upgrade to the Samsung Q700A. What a difference! This sound bar is dynamic if set up properly. If you have a Samsung Q70, 80 or 90 and put the soundbar in bit stream mode... the sound will fill the room. The only thing missing was a fuller rear sound like my Yamaha 6.1 sound system in my living room... so a week later I added the rear speakers... wow! If you can get this system on sale, don't hesitate. I am amazed there is negligible difference between this Samsung sound bar with the matching rear speakers compared to my optically wired Yamaha 400 watt 6.1 surround sound system in my living room. The sound is just as immersive in the bedroom now for music, TV and movies. So now I tend to go to bed earlier... not just to sleep... but to fluff up a pillow and and comfortably enjoy theater quality picture and sound until lights out.

This is not a technical review of the sound bar. If you want a more in-depth review of the sound quality, I recommend going on YouTube where there's a lot of great reviews of this product. I got this sound bar at around ~$400 and it has dramatically improved the quality of my home theater for its price. This is the first time I've actually purchased a dedicated sound bar system and I had a Samsung TV so I was looking forward to the Q-Symphony functionality. I was delighted! The sound stage was wide and detailed and I could hear ever sound effect on the screen. In fact, I have a small space at home and it can even get overwhelming at times so I turn the volume down. As a laymen, I have a hard time imagining what the higher end systems (i.e. $900 and above) sound bars are bringing to the table beyond a few more satellite speakers for a better surround sound experience. If you can snag this speaker system at around ~$400 it's definitely a steal that I highly recommend. I'll also never go back to a life without a proper sound bar system!

The soundbar and sub woofer are a great addition to any home. I have always had issues with listening to movies on the tv speakers but with these it makes a world of a difference. The bass is amazing on the subwoofer as well! The seamless connect works as advertised, even bought the rear speaker system and connection was a breeze. Would recommend

For my small/medium room it sounds really good! I got the wireless speakers and its amazing. The bass is great as well, dont understand the complaints about bass tbh, maybe their rooms are just way too big idk. But the bass can get loud and rumbles. Coupled this with my lg oled c1 65 inch and i pretty much have a movie theater in my room.

Great sound and easy set up, used it with Samsung Q60

I can say I am satisfied with the output of this soundbar but I can't say I am thrilled. I paired this with my QN90A (which is awesome) and the sound quality is good but the promise of "Q-Symphony" sound is quite underwhelming. Overall a significant upgrade over the built in speakers but I wish I had purchased a different one.

Overall a good soundbar. Plenty of sound with no distortion. The onky thing i dont like is the lack of sound modes. My previous bars has music, games, movies etc but this one doesnt. The sub is good but almost too much. I had to turn mine all the way down. Overall however for the money its a decent enough system.

The sound is incredible, making watching anything on tv so much better! Sound is crisp and balanced. Voices are clear and background music has depth. The 3 channels make sure that the sound isn’t lost in my open plan living space (with 10 foot ceilings). I cannot say enough good things…and I never write reviews!

Bought this to reduce the clutter in our family room. While it doesn't reach the room rattling sound of our previous surround system, it produces beautiful sound without having all the wires and speakers spread throughout the room. It was a snap to install and we are very happy with it.

Sounds fantastic. Sub is a little light; but I’m not trying to wake the neighbors either. But I also knew that going in. Have not bought the addable rear surround speakers yet Earc and q-symphony works as advertised. No complaints especially with them price matching Amazon for a stupid low price.

Definitely middle of the road soundbar but accompanied with the witless rear speakers and wireless sub woofer you will enjoy the Dolby atmos experience. Be sure to use the hdmi ARC feature because I initially had an issue with the tv and Apple TV switching back and forth with tv speakers output instead of soundbar.
