So my husband had to go to bb and buy 8500 series speakers to work. The speakers sound great but if I was given the rite info at best buy I would have bought the ms 6500 sound bar.

It had to be repaired and broke again in the matter of a week. We took it back to the store and they replaced it with this one which is the newer model. Seems to be working good. Great customer service. I would spend more and get a better one next time.

OK Speaker System at best

The sub woofer definitely gave adequate kick to movies and video games, but I felt the sound bar was a little tinny to me. Not a bad system for the price. Good for a small room set up.

As far as bass, I was surprised there isn’t as much thump, but it is well above living room standards. The settings for the bass only go up to six, and for day to day use I leave it at 3-4. The soundbar puts off some decent bass by itself! Add the surround sound speakers and it really works well. It definitely helps to change the sound mode depending on what you are watching. (Movie, Sports, Clear,etc). Multiple settings to tweek to your liking and pairing was very easy. The only negative to me would be a faster way to turn on and off the rear speaker surround sound. You have to click through a 3-4 options in order to do so.

The sound bar and the Surround speaker option sounds good and hook up to cell phone and laptop via Bluetooth was easy and works good. The wireless sub-woofer is not loud enough even with the remote sub-woofer adjustment set to +6. No matter where the placement of the sub-woofer it is not loud enough unless the volume is set to such a high lever that it is uncomfortable. Even with the added expense the Bose sound bar is superior in sound even without the Surround speakers - actually night and day difference.

One thing I didn't like was the setup and use of Bluetooth. The HDMI setup didn't work for me; couldn't get the input and output to do what I wanted. I ended up using digital audio, though tried Bluetooth as well. That would never reconnect to the TV when I turned it back on. Could be an issue with the TV, but HDMI and BT seems to sound fuller than digital audio; could be wrong though. I'd still recommend it.

Can be controlled with the accompanying remote control. Sounds really great when you play it with a movie and crank it up. :) Definitely an awesome sound bar, especially for the money.
