If I find a an advertised competitor, they match it. I could always go online to buy but, believe it or not, I really like the personal contact with staff. Quite often I've been served by knowledge individuals who are also passionate about the products they represent.). Well this particular product fit the bill, was very competitively priced and I could take it home the same day!

I read other reviews and they have the same problem. If you have Samsung tv then it will work well but other tvs forget it. I Bluetooth my Iphone and play music and the sound was loud but with the tv low sounds.

I am sorry to hear that you were not completely satisfied with its low volume.
Please check the connection between the Soundbar and other source devices, and try the following tips that may help improve the volume level.
1. If the Soundbar is connected to a TV thru HDMI, make sure to use the HDMI-ARC jack on the TV and select “External speakers” as the TV sound output.
2. Check the audio output format sent to the Soundbar. Typical options are PCM, Dolby Digital, and Bitstream. Select the option that optimizes the sound from your source.
3. Change the SOUND MODE on the Soundbar using the Soundbar’s remote. Choices are STANDARD, MUSIC, CLEAR VOICE, SPORTS, or MOVIE. Select the appropriate mode for the individual room acoustics.
4. Turn on Dynamic Range Control. This is done by pressing and holding the SOUND MODE button on the remote control while the Soundbar is in standby mode.

I did purchase the Samsung surround sound wireless rear speakers as well. I am disappointed with the quality of those. If you want sound like at the movies invest with a better unit.They are average at best. They sounded much better in the store. I have Boise speakers for my other tv, much better sound quality than the Samsung?
