Excellent solution for mid-size room
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I replaced an older samsung 5.1 surround setup with this sound bar, works great in a mid-size living room (15’ x 24’). Took a little while to get used to the missing rear channels but now that I’m acclimated I’m satisfied. Firmware upgrade via USB is a bit of a pain, you’ll need a micro USB to USB female adapter to hook up a thumb drive.

Surprisingly clear

For the value you get full stage speaker separation (L,C,R) and LFE. With an additional kit you can upgrade to a very minimal 5.1 adding in surrounds. Also, for Samsung owners, the bar integration with the tv's remote well to a point you only need the bars remote to do the initial setup and change inputs if needed. I have been really happy with and and my friends have enjoyed it as well.

Good Bang For The Buck

It works like it's supposed to for the money. There are way better sound bars available, but if you're going to spend the money and have room for a true set up then go that route. IMO, otherwise this is great for entry level and dorms.
