I don't have a lot of experience with sound bars, but this one came with a separate subwoofer. It does a great job but I think I expected a little more then what it performs. Had it been full price, I would probably be disappointed definitely.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.When I went to install this I noticed that my TV did not have an optical output or a HDMI arc, at first I couldn't figure out how to connect, but this sound bar allows for another device to be plugged into it then into the TV. So i plugged my Apple TV into the Sound bar and then the Sound Bar into the TV and it works great! If you mount your tv, you can buy some other brackets to mount this sound bar to the tv.

Big disappointment - awful subwoofer with very low sound and bass effect. Other negative reviews are correct. Don’t buy this product. I returned it and bought a higher priced LG 4.1 Soundbar / SubWoofer System and am very pleased with it.
